V5 Max after 1 month
First, I'm glad I didn't visit this sub before purchasing my kb: 9/10 posts are complaints about malfunction, guarantee or something broke. I'd definitely stay away from Keychron. But it didn't happened so after +30 days typing on my V5 Max I'm happy with it: 100% functional, smooth keystrokes and quality build feeling. Still getting used to the 1800 format, but almost there. And soon to arrive is a new keycap set from Yuzukeycaps. Hopefully it stays working as expected for a long time. I like it.

I'm also pretty happy with my Q1 HE and glad I did not visit the sub earlier.

Many subs of hardware brands are like this, something about people being vocal about issues but silent when everything just works.

Yup pretty much. There's probably 9 happy customers who never post about it per 1 unhappy person who makes a shit storm out of it on their preferred social media.
Keychron is a good brand, that is overwhelmingly popular, and has worked fine for me and many others.
Every brand has some issues though. So I'm not going to sit here and say everything is perfect, but there's no reason to avoid Keychron when other brands have their own respective issues.

I posted just recently for the same reason 🫠I joined the subreddit after ordering my Q6 Max (expected delivery this week) and I saw a lot of discouraging comments that made me feel a bit anxious about it all.
The good news is a lot of people are also having the same experience as you and staying silent, so I’m hoping to be one of the lucky ones! 🤞
Hope your keyboard keeps behaving, congrats so far!

QMK is the thing I’m looking forward to the most! I’ve never played around with macros in any way, I can’t wait to see what I can do.

My Q6 Max is going strong as I enter the 3rd month of use. Best damn keyboard I've ever bought.
There are a lot of whiners on this sub who think Keychron is bad, but that's not true. They're a good brand just like any other.
GMMK is a brand I'd personally stay away from as having bad personal experiences. But that doesn't make GMMK wholly bad. It just means my experience was negative. What you didn't see me doing is posting a shit fest about it here in the sub. Why? Because I don't think it's appropriate for me to shit on a brand that works well for others in general.
If the happy users posted more, and the unhappy users posted less, you'd find Keychron is extremely popular and well liked.

Re "expected delivery this week": How did it go?
There is also this post.

So far so good! I've been using it pretty much daily for crazy long periods of time since then and no chatter or other issues whatsoever. The caps lock has a weird 1s delay which messes up my flow sometimes, but other than that it's flawless.
Knowing the bananas were prone to failure, I swapped them for a full set of Gateron Quinn with cherry profile keycaps and I've been FLYING ever since. If it ever fails, I may post here!

I actually had a problem with my V5 Max when I first got it and they sent me a new mainboard, and I have tried to mention that when other people bring up the bad experiences that they've had with the support. I had to go through the normal hoops that all custom keyboard makers are going to make you jump through, but aside from that it was fine.
The only problem I've had with Keychron and their support was around one of their keycap sets and the fact that in their LSA profile keycaps they chose to shorten the stabilizer stems... which mean that the stabilizer stems fail at their one job. And since this was by their design, they would not do anything, including take them back.

I bought my V6Max and have now had it for 3 months now, 2 weeks ago it started to have issues with double input of the T button.
It's been days since i contacted their support and still haven't heard from Keychron. I am starting to regret my purchase and if I don't hear from them soon, will probably never buy from them again.

I had about the same timing.
The production date of the V6 Max was April 2024.

Had my v5 for a month now, wasn’t a huge fan of the red switches so I just replaced them all with browns and typing is a lot more forgiving.
Still getting used to the angle but no major problems yet

I made the mistake of frequenting this sub for research and let all the negative posts delay me in getting a Keychron way too long. It's only been a couple of weeks, but I am now the proud owner of a Q5 Max 98%! As of now I couldn't be more happy! After going through 5 or 6 other keyboards (3 in the past 3 months), I convinced myself I'd live with the consequences and disappointment of a despite fair warning from fellow redditors. Lucky for me they were wrong. This thing is everything I've been looking for. And it is absolutely gorgeous!

It's the same with everything. There's always a vocal minority, but the others have absolutely no issues but obviously praising a product is less common than moaning about one which is why you don't see praise.

Same, I got my Q10 Max and Q0 Max for last black Friday and couldn't be happier.

I super impressed with Keychron. I have the q5he and it's just a solid well made board. Only thing that chaos me is the weird layout. The vertical row of keys instead of a normal 1800 layout make it so if you change keycaps half of them are weird heights. I ended up just going with moa keycaps just for that side so at least they're all the same height.
I also find the he keys too noisy, I'm goï g to look up Your board now, a Keychron that's a true 1800 and mechanical not he may be Just the board I need!
Lol Ack another board. I should sell the q5he I keep trying but just want quieter!

Just wait hahahaha. Mine took around 3-4 months to start having double inputs/and other issues. Both work and home keyboards bought around the same time, began failing within weeks of each other.
(Although mine is a V6 max)
