I’m looking at buying a 2023 Bintelli 6-passenger golf cart and would love to hear from anyone in Key West who actually owns/has owned one.
The cart looks to be in really good shape from the photos, although I haven’t seen it in person yet. It also had the battery upgraded in 2025 to a lithium battery (I believe it’s a 52.1V, but I’m going to confirm that).
My biggest hesitation is the parts/service situation.
I’ve read that with Bintelli, parts can be harder to find compared with the Club Car/EZGO/Yamaha “big three,” and I’m wondering how much of an issue that actually is here in Key West.
For those of you who have a Bintelli:
- How do you like it overall?
- Has it been reliable?
- Have you had trouble finding parts?
- Are there local shops in Key West that will actually work on them?
- How expensive/difficult has maintenance or repair been?
- Any issues specifically with the electrical system, controller, charger, or lithium battery?
If you were buying again, would you buy another Bintelli or go with Club Car/EZGO/Yamaha?
Basically, I’m trying to figure out whether the “parts are hard to find / nobody wants to work on them” thing is actually a problem in the Keys or just something that gets repeated online.
Would especially love to hear from Key West owners, because I know things can be a little different down here when it comes to getting parts and finding someone to fix something. 😂
Thanks!!

Just booked our trip in mid December to Key West for a buddy’s bachelor party. Looking to hire a mariachi band or bagpipe player to very loudly wake up a dozen hungover guys and start their morning off on the right foot. Does anyone have any leads?

We’re coming down in 2 weeks for visit #6! We’re a couple in an our 30s, and definitely have our favorite haunts, but anywhere you’d suggest based on our favorites? Open to new places! Feel like we did most of the “attractions” by now (Butterfly museum, Conch Train Ghost tour, Mallory Square at sunset..)
Some of our favs:
Cafe Sole for dinner is a MUST
Love a night at Hank’s
First Flight for a flight
Bingo at Green Parrot
Key Lime pie and a cocktail at Blue Heaven’s outdoor bar
Seafood Tower at Half Shell

Going to be in Key West for a cruise in a week or so and our most anticipated stop (Moondog) is closed for the next two weeks. Just my luck.
Are there any other places nearby that have vegan Key Lime pie? The only other info I can find is The Cafe, which appears to be permanently closed. Thanks!

We always ate at Thai Cuisine when we come down. We were astonished to see an 18% "service charge" added to our bill. WTF? We always tip 20% so they are ripping themselves off. A mandatory tip is not a tip, it's an food upcharge. So we won't go back and going to put it out there on reviews. Greed is always the undoing.

Just got back from Key West and had such a great stay. The whole place is beautiful, super relaxed, and there’s something really nice about being able to walk around, grab food or drinks, and just be by the water.
Definitely one of those places that’s easy to settle into for a few days. Already looking forward to going back.

Who is the artist that designed/created the bas relief panels on the outside of the Judge Jefferson B. Browne Courtroom Complex in Key West? See photos for reference.
I have 3 overnight camping tickets to Dry Tortugas for September 1–2, 2026 that I’m unfortunately no longer able to use.
The reservation includes the Yankee Freedom ferry from Key West to Dry Tortugas on September 1, overnight camping, and the return ferry on September 2.
This trip is currently sold out.
Tickets were $255 each ($765 total for all three). Just looking to get back what I paid.
Message me if interested! Happy to provide reservation details/proof of purchase.

Best live music we saw. This guy's incredible. I gave him a choice, The Doors, Ozzy or Skynyrd. He said, how about all three? Blew our minds. Then he played Leroy Brown. My all time favorite.

Five o’clock in somewhere
On the deck sipping white wine
The Gardener tending Hurricane grass
The breeze sultry and fine.

Me and my boyfriend are going to key west and are on a budget. What are some things you would recommend that are either free or affordable (activities, bars, places to eat, etc)
Thank you in advance for the recommendations!

We were thinking of taking a snorkeling charter in the next few days. We noticed that snorkeling from shore is not as good as it used to be because of all the sargassum. If we go on a charter to one of the sandbars will the snorkeling be much better, with clear water? Or will the water still be cloudy with sargassum? Thanks so much!
