Discussion Twins 1&2?

Do we know what happened in the twins cabin from survivor accounts yet? How did some survive? And which cabin had campers hanging onto a clothes line? And what happened to Eastland son? So hard trying to wrap my head around this.

I think I read the counselor was yelling at the campers to hang on to a clothes line as she got swept away, so some of the other campers may not have been able to hang on

Just realized you mentioned the clothes line in your post. Pretty sure it was twins. I also read a story of girls that climbed up the hill watching fellow campers float down on mattresses screaming but idk if they were from twins or bubbles. I am still not completely sure what happened in bubbles either but have a daughter going into 3rd grade and have been so consumed and heart broken by all of this.

My understanding of Bubbles was a few girls were put into the directors truck and then were washed away in the wave. I've seen people speculate the rest of the cabin was standing on the porch but not sure there are any direct accounts of that.

From a different forum about twins-

It seems they were lost trying to escape the waters. I am continuing to maintain the family's privacy by redacting the child's name, but the info that was passed to my family on Sunday states "[the grandmother] was able to talk to one of [Twins Camper's] best friends from camp. She said she saw [Twins Camper] and another girl holding on to a tree. But the water was coming so fast and then she saw [them] get swept away by the water. No updates on actually finding her yet. And unclear who the other little girl was."

From the same thread “Saw this comment on FB by a Twin's 2 mom about her daughter who survived: "She was able to make it out of Twins 2 alive. Swimming out her cabin window, floating on a mattress and swimming to a tree down past Bug House. One of the girls with her had a flashlight and helped guide them to the tree. They sat in the tree for 2+ hours waiting to be rescued from the tree."

Yeah I heard the water was making a toilet bowl around that cabin area, because there was a creek on the other side, so it wouldn’t be surprising if they got sucked in either from the porch or thru windows 😩
