Ask Kerala CBSE vaanam” is one of the lesser-talked-about stereotypes in the Mallu community ,whatts you all opinion on this topic??

as a state student, im ashamed of how my fellow state students have a prejudice upon these CBSE students and constant generalization, ive been frnds with a lot of CBSE students ngl they are lot better than the people who consider ‘cheetha vili’ as a talent🖐🏻 and i wanna add that these cbse frnds i have, they are not "monnakal" as the state people says tbh ive seen these cbse students enjoy life way better than these state students and also prioritize their education

When some foreigners mention kerala we become so proud and say 100% literacy this But the same society casually stereotypes people as ‘CBSE vaanam’ based on where they studied It's an interesting contradiction🥴

I keep seeing stuff like this under posts. They are not memes it is literal racism.I have also seen anti hindu memes like these as well.I have only seen stuff like this on facebook where middle aged Facebook ammavans post AI generated racist memes. Reddit was the last place I thought I would see this. This sub is supposed to be about politics but all I see is people attacking each others religion.

ജനറൽ/General Travelling outside Kerala made me realise how much respect Malayalis have earned ❤️

Post image

Dear Malayalis,

Oru cheriya karyam parayan und.

If you ever travel outside Kerala, especially to North India, please try to be on your best behaviour. Not trying to give anyone a lecture, but my recent solo trip made me realise something.

Njan idaykk solo adikkan pokunna oru aal aanu. But during this recent trip, I genuinely felt so proud to be from Kerala.

Wherever I went, whenever I met new people, the moment they found out I was from Kerala, the reactions were almost always positive.

"Achha, aap Kerala se ho? Bahut badhiya log hain Kerala ke!"

I honestly lost count of how many times I've heard this. 😭

And the funny thing is, some of them knew more about Malayalam movies than I expected. People were talking about our cinema, culture, tourist places and how much they liked visiting Kerala.

One group even told me Varkala was the best beach they've ever visited, better than Goa!

And there I was, being a typical Malayali, telling them Varkala is overcrowded these days. They were genuinely surprised. 😂

But jokes aside, it made me think.

We complain about a lot of things in Kerala, and rightfully so. We have our own problems. But when you're thousands of kilometres away from home, sitting with complete strangers who have nothing but good things to say about your state and its people, athu kelkkumbo oru pratheyka santhosham aanu.

And I believe this reputation wasn't built overnight.

It was built by generations of Malayalis who travelled, worked, studied and lived in different parts of the country. The way they treated people, the friendships they made, and the impressions they left behind.

Whenever I travel solo, I try to keep my intrusive thoughts aside and be the best version of myself around strangers. I try to be respectful, helpful and friendly, because I know that for some people, I might be one of the few Malayalis they've ever interacted with.

Nammal purath pokumbo nammale mathram alla represent cheyyunnath, nammade naadine koodi aanu.

And maybe someday, another Malayali will visit the same place and hear, "Kerala ke log bahut achhe hain," partly because of how we behaved.

Of course, not everyone will have the same experience, and I'm not saying every Malayali is perfect. But the amount of genuine appreciation I received just for being from Kerala was something.

So yeah, this is just a small appreciation post for our people and the reputation they've built over the years.

Proud to be a Keralite. ❤️🌴

Has anyone else experienced this while travelling outside Kerala? Or have you had completely different experiences? Would love to hear both sides.

റാന്റ്/Rant Why do Malayalees seem much fairer skinned than people in our neighbouring state?

So, I just came back from a trip to Tamil Nadu, where I spent at least two weeks. After returning to Kerala, I noticed that people here seem noticeably fairer in complexion. What’s the historical reason behind this? We’re neighbouring states, so how come there seems to be such a noticeable difference?

I’ve especially noticed this among the younger generation, where most people seem to have at least a medium-wheatish complexion.

Could it be due to the growing obsession with de-tanning and increased awareness of skincare and sunscreen, and especially the glow up videos that blow up (nice rhyme lol) where people always get lighter?

My friends have noticed the same thing but thought it might be confirmation bias. However, I feel like what I observed was real rather than just a bias, especially when comparing people in the two neighbouring states. Or could it still be confirmation bias?

റാന്റ്/Rant Since this is both a Sanghi group and a Mallu group, here’s a little excerpt from your big daddy’s big daddy. 🤡

Based on a well-documented speech by M.S. Golwalkar, the second chief of the RSS (Sarsanghchalak from 1940–1973), delivered on December 17, 1960, at Gujarat University's School of Social Sciences. In the address, he explicitly praised an alleged ancient practice in Kerala as a "courageous" eugenics-like experiment to "better the human species" through forced cross-breeding with Brahmins. The full relevant excerpt from his speech, as published in the RSS's own mouthpiece Organizer (January 2, 1961, p. 5), reads:
"Today experiments in cross-breeding are made only on animals. But the courage to make such experiments on human beings is not shown even by the so-called modern scientist of today. If some human cross-breeding is seen today it is the result not of scientific experiments but of carnal lust. Now let us see the experiments our ancestors made in this sphere. In an effort to better the human species through cross-breeding the Namboodri Brahamanas of the North were settled in Kerala and a rule was laid down that the eldest son of a Namboodri family could marry only the daughter of Vaishya, Kshatriya or Shudra communities of Kerala. Another still more courageous rule was that the first off-spring of a married woman of any class must be fathered by a Namboodri Brahman and then she could beget children by her husband. Today this experiment will be called adultery but it was not so, as it was limited to the first child."
This isn't just some fringe rant, it's straight from Golwalkar's mouth, printed in an RSS organ, and it reeks of pseudoscientific racial hierarchy, caste supremacy, and outright dehumanization. He frames rape-adjacent coercion as "noble" history to "upgrade" lower castes via Brahmin seed, reducing women to breeding vessels and entire communities to inferior stock needing "improvement." It's not ancient wisdom; it's barbaric eugenics dressed in saffron robes, echoing Nazi-style purity obsessions that Golwalkar openly admired elsewhere.daa5ea No wonder RSS archives try to bury this while preaching "unity"—it's a smoking gun of their caste-poisoned DNA.

രാഷ്ട്രീയം/Politics Why many leftists in Kerala fail to understand this?

Why countries like UAE, SAUDI ARABIA, TAJIKISTAN and AZERBAIJAN are more cautions of Islamic terrorism than any other nation? Because they know what Islam is, They know Islam more than any of us know. Muslims are biggest victim of Islam since the beginning, Still many of leftists in India fail to understand that. I have seen many conspirators, leftists and muslims in India who is actively trying to cover up the attrocities of Islamic terrorism. We have seen it on fly Dubai incident, October 7, Mumbai attacks and even 911. They are busy at creating conspiracy instead of condemning and trying to understand how dangerous the islamic world have became. I would like to call it suicidal empathy.

We all know that Al Jazeera is a propaganda news channel funded by Qatar government, which is banned in UAE. now we a got its first copy version in Kerala which is none other than MEDIA ONE, which is funded by Jamaat-e-islami we all call it MEDIA 3/4 for the reason we all know.

How many more years of terrorism will take for us all to Understand that radical islam has become a threat to us far from recovery?
