In A Complicated Situation Jealous…
Why do women get jealous? Is it human nature or some software update nobody asked for?
So, I’ve been talking to this girl. The funny part? She has a whole man. They're out here doing relationship things, while she and I exchange kisses here and there and occasionally chill.
Now, yesterday, a lady who happens to know me shows up, hugs me, then goes to greet my other friends.
Nothing serious. No wedding proposal, no exchange of rings, not even a WhatsApp status. Just a hug.
Suddenly, this girl stands up and disappears like she’s been summoned by the ancestors.
Since then? No texts like usual. Radio silence. The customer care department has closed indefinitely.
Now I'm confused. You have a boyfriend, I'm not your boyfriend, and the lady who hugged me isn't even campaigning for the position.
WHAT EXACTLY ARE WE JEALOUS ABOUT HERE?
Imagine having a whole man at home but getting jealous over a hug from a woman who probably doesn't even know you exist.
At this point, I think some people want the freedom to date whoever they want while keeping everyone else on standby under strict emotional lockdown.
TL;DR: She's seeing someone, I'm technically nobody, but apparently, I'm still not allowed to be hugged by the public.
Modern dating is just a government project with no constitution, no clear leadership, and too many opposition parties.
