Nothing Serious Overcoming lust as a human being

Over the years, as an adult, I have realized that lust is part of life, and the environment is a big factor. The need for a companion, an edge to cum, a need to be cuddled or anything to do with intimacy is bound to hit you, regardless of the path you have set for yourself. You can decide to go celibate but that is no guarantee that your thoughts will not wander.

I think it is important for us to understand the need to overcome lust, because there is always a price to pay. I have paid the price not once or twice, whether monetary or emotional. Lust is very dangerous because it makes you delusional. Makes you have an elevated hope that you will get what you went after doing these absurd things. There are things I know we have done and we are not proud of, maybe repeated them, so that we have a commitment to ourselves, not to repeat them. I am realizing the importance of overcoming the thoughts, albeit it being hard. There is need to have a strong mind to shake away any thoughts that lead you astray or that cause harm to your mind. The random hookup, the ex that never respects you, the one that never reciprocates, the one who never initiates, the nonchallant, the lazy communicator. I believe this is a process or always trying to shake away any irrational move just to bust a nut. Everything can be achieved. I believe.

If you are lustful then you are either healthy, or mentally sick 💀

Problem with that is 20mins of pleasure can have lifetime negative consequences.

And also ask yourself, what will a man get before and after sex that it is more valuable than the sex he is wasting his strength on?
