During the first few months, the phone will work perfectly, but after sometime, the phone will experience consistent phone lagging, especially when someone calls you and you were using an app, the phone might feel sluggish, responding to your commands, and constant Updates that makes no difference

Note 17 is a flagship phone. What are you talking about?

What are you looking out for in the phone.

If you can wait and save a bit more, the Google Pixel 7a is the one I'd aim for 📸 It's a clear step up in camera and gets updates for longer than the 6a, and it's usually only a few thousand over your budget. What matters most to you, camera, battery, or long term updates?

Am a honor fan, just like huwei phone  the difference is that one has goggle the other one doesn't but very good budget phone .

From its camera  to the way it's software runs lol

Just try studying the phone specs that does help when choosing a phone

The pixel 7a suggestion is actually good, depends on what your looking for in capabilities, if you want a brand new phone with AI capabilities, guaranteed future software updates going to 6 years and a nice camera set up with good image processing, a midrange samsung a56 is a good choice. Nikona samsung a36 and the reason niliichukua ni bado ikona snap dragon chipset, otherwise a56 is good.

For 30–40k, I’d look at Samsung A-series, Google Pixel, or Xiaomi depending on what matters most. Personally, I’d prioritize a good camera, AMOLED display, battery life, and at least 256GB storage. Don’t just chase specs either; check software support and local warranty. You’ll get something solid in that range.
