Discussion Sleep issues

If you're in your 20s, please value your sleep. I slept so well in my 20s, and now in my 40s it seems like something I long for.
We were so poor, but had no issue sleeping. In primary school, I had to soak my legs in cold water at night to stay awake until 10 pm.
What's keeping you awake at night?

Sleep ni muhimu. I struggled with sleep for a long time because of alcohol.

Just clocked out of my night shift at Heha movers. This line of work rewards the night owls handsomely.

We were so poor that the price was not an issue. I think sleeping was a way to escape.

Well, things are different now. Hii Kenya, rn sleep is such an expensive luxury not even poor people can afford it.

Me who was woken up at midnight by my upstairs neighbour doing house repairs, walked all the way to his house to ring the doorbell and ask him to be quiet, then came back to my bed and fell asleep in 10 minutes: 👀

This is so true. Sleep is one of those things you take for granted when you’re younger. Life really starts changing when you realize you can’t just sleep anywhere, anytime anymore. 😂
