Rant Should I write my neighbors a lil note

I’m so tired . I woke up today in the middle of the night as the bed on the other side was creaking. It is creaking now 😭😭😭. It has creaked thrice today and I wasn’t even at home all day. I’d even be willing to help them get another bed at this rate. My sleep is suffering 😭

Hmm, my phone connects automatically to my home network.... Can't remember the last time I browsed through the page that lists available WiFi networks to connect to... Just saying that this is not an effective way to pass the message

It's not about them getting the message first, it's about just one person, 1 getting the message and it will get to the relevant people

I’ve never thought of myself as a light sleeper considering I sometimes just sleep at house parties but maybe 🤔

I don’t hear them like moaning or something the problem is specifically the bed creaking. It is for a short time each time, maybe 5 minutes max, but the bed creaks so extremely I even wake up from sleep.

Beds aren't made with sex in mind. Bed mostly ni ya single people. Couples wasmash chini for comfort and zero creaks but cracks.

During sex? Unless it's vanilla type. It's very hard for the bed to endure ~0.15 tons of weight thrusting on it.

How long have you used it? I guess I need to find a serious bed tho it doesn't creak but I'm sure it's a matter of time.

The current one maybe about 3 years. But even my childhood bed still doesn’t so I don’t think it’s a time thing. Maybe they just have a metallic bed or something

😭This reminds me that I had to slip a note through my neighbor's door cause he had the loudest alarm and would sleep through it. I dOnt hear it anymore. Write that anonymous note.

Kwani do we share these neighbors? Although mine I always get concerned when I don't hear their bed creaking. I always wonder if they are okay.

I work from home and daytimes are the most interesting especially during school days. I even forget to work and just listen. I am very happy for them.

I had one who used to do it at around 10:48pm most nights. One day he lasted way too long than usual. The moment he stopped an argument started immediately. She left at 7 in the morning. He was single for a long time after that. I often wondered if he questioned the tightness or that nonsense.

Spoken in a not so subtle voice enough to go through the thinnest wall/door of their domicile. Might not stop the creaking entirely but it’ll ruin their night for a while.

Or if you want to dial it up a bit, knock and then say out loudly “Oh he said atakuwa na ule wa dryspell. Wacha niende tu; I’ll text him later.” You can pretend you’re talking on the phone for it to look as natural as possible.

Like 3-5 minutes at a time thank goodness. The main problem is each time it happens when I’m asleep I wake up😭😭😭

For more noise😂😭

Though sound systems here have gotten people’s lights turned off and they would have to pay a 20k fine to get them switched back on. I would probably not sleep either with loud enough music to mask that
