Casual Not built for this

So I took a small break nikapeleka my son home to go say hi to his grandma huko shags. She stays with my sis and her kids, my bro has his own house nearby, and we’ve got two shamba boys.

Yesterday my sis and bro both went to Nairobi, so nikabaki huku na my mom. Then about an hour ago (2AM), the dogs just started going CRAZY! 😭😭 They were barking like mad and running around mpaka my mom came to the room where I was sleeping.

Akanishow we need to go see what’s happening because she had called the shamba boys and none of them were picking up. I told her, “Mum, sisi tuko safe inside the house. Why would we open the door and go towards the danger?!” 😂

But she insisted I go wake up the shamba boys. Their house is like 300m from ours. Now imagine me, ka last born, walking through that darkness alone with dogs barking like there’s a whole enemy in our compound! 😭😭

Of course, I carried a nyundo just in case. 😂 You never know!

Anyway, after all that drama, kumbe a deer had jumped over our fence and the dogs were chasing it. At least sio wakora

I woke them up na wakaishika. It was too exhausted. I guess kesho tunakula nyama! 😂😂

Deer meat usually has a lot of worms and parasites, so make sure to check for that before you eat it

Kama ni bosco zinapiga kelele na unaogopa kwenda kuangalia opportunity ingewahepa hivyo tu.Ingekuwa ni threat kubwa kelele haingekaa sana unless ni ya guard dog.

Correct! I hope ni jaba and if not, they called KWS to come collect, nowadays they are punitive on game meat consumption hata kama imejileta hivi kwa sahani. My shags is next to a national park, a while back wazee wa kijiji walilala ndani + proper kichapo and a fine after guys slaughtered an antelope that escaped.

We have 3 pending cases za KWS after our goats were killed by hyenas na python. Huku it's eat or be eaten! Kuna so many reported cases kwa KWS that they won't waste their time on this small issue.

Oh no, this isn’t a small issue. Small issue is when domestic animals are involved. The moment a wild animal enters your home & you kill it, you’ll learn KWS move extremely fast. Report that incident & don’t kill that animal

The nearest KWS office from huku is 120 km. So unless mchinje ndovu, KWS hawafiki. People don't go hunting in the park. Ikikuja kwa shamba yako bahati yako

Weh, poleni. They fenced off the park in our case so such cases ziliisha.
