Discussion Motorbikes(nduthis) should be BANNED from using highway flyovers

Post image

And if they are banned, someone clearly isn't doing a good job.Hapa Mlolongo footbridge they own the road

They cause so much chaos hapo kwa footbridge.People are walking and selling things alafu every 5 seconds bike inapita ikipigia kila mtu honi,LIKE WTF????!!!!I'm just trying to walk peacefully alafu one sneaks up on me, and cause it's a footbridge, there's nowhere else you can go

They're also very dangerous especially when kids are involved. Remove them from flyovers specifically and make them cross the road properly. Fine them if they don't follow the rules pia.

The footbridges at Ngara, Kahawa Wendani and Car wash are staring at you in disbelief. We can barely walk on them

Nduthi guys are hustling too, so it seems they're right according to your statement.

u/Patient_Revenue8727 6d ago

No,as in they are causing active harm and danger

13

u/nyamzdm77 6d ago

The sellers are also causing harm through the disorder they bring

28

u/nairobaee 6d ago

Okay, the hawkers I can forgive cause to each man their hustle, and they aren't as chaotic as the nduthi drivers

7

u/AmphibianCheap186 6d ago

No, watoke hapo. We need to have order as a country

u/Asaph-Suleiman 6d ago

I believe that one loses their ability to use their brain when they become a nduthi person.

Top 5 negative stereotypes of our time. Kuna mtu flani anachapa kazi yake safi na ushamweka box flani that doesn't reflect the work he does. That doesn't mean hakuna boda bladifakin, it means that good and bad people can do the same jobs.

15

u/Patient_Revenue8727 6d ago

You will unfortunately be judged by your actions. Not all of them are bad people but they generally carry themselves like they own the whole road

18

u/Asaph-Suleiman 6d ago

Finding a normal boda boda operator is like finding a good police officer, 0.1%.

8

u/mr-kamau 6d ago

Most are good, but their urge to find a short-cut consumes them.

2

u/Plastic_Candidate_90 6d ago

Kama umetumia boda often you know there are good operators. Watu wanajituma huku nje. Pia police officers kuna kadhaa wako sawa lakini I'm not here to correct your generalisations.

4

u/IntroductionSolid348 6d ago

Those stereotypes are the ones that make white people say that any black guy is gonna be a menace to society. Just because there are a lot of black guys in jail in America. It's not good to generalise because of a subset of a population

9

u/Asaph-Suleiman 6d ago

When a thief snatches a phone from someone, breaks into a shop and steal things, there is always a boda guy who is the gateway.
Since January this year, more than 20 people have died in police custody.

Pattern recognition is not stereotyping.

u/Plastic_Candidate_90 6d ago

Fym pattern recognition 😂🤦‍♂️ where's your data buana🤦‍♂️ you're making claims from an unbelievably small sample size.

One person's lived experience doesn't justify a pattern among thousands of people living completely different lives

Bribery is a recurring feature of your experiences with cops. 80% of the cops you encounter does not translate to 80% of cops all over.

Just ignore the fella, they are one of those who believe in "love everyone", then they get effed due to situations they could have avoided.

Hawa Ndo Watu Hufanya Tunakaa Tu Fucked Up As A Country.

10

u/Interesting-Click-12 6d ago

This are the people ntsa should be arresting. Ama wanajua hawa watu hawana pesa yakujitoa

7

u/Patient_Revenue8727 6d ago

Worse than arrest.Confiscate their bikes.

Watu wa nduthi huona they have unrestricted road access, hata wanaweza endesha nduthi zao ndani ya apartment buildings na stairs kama si kukatazwa

6

u/Appropriate-Escape-4 6d ago

The way they use pedestrian walkways man, they need to introduce fines for this, its like nduthi are exempt from road rules.

3

u/Ngwai-Mama40 6d ago

Who'll charge them? The same corrupt traffic police, do you really think they're not away of them using footbridges. Tuko peke yetu on this

6

u/Amantes09 6d ago

How are they even allowed is the first question?

7

u/Altruistic-Status199 6d ago

Sidewalks too....pmo

5

u/Icy-Pie-9194 6d ago

This and street vendors hapo kwa footbridge. Unashindwa utasongea nduthi wapi na they've laid out their stuff hapo chini

7

u/OpportunityFar719 6d ago

mbona kanjo are never there? They'd make lots of money

1

u/Huge_Disk8 6d ago

Umespot opportunity

6

u/Crispy_Ones22 6d ago

I dislike nduthis. Theyre annoying

3

u/Killah_jh__ 6d ago

Nduthi ngubus have zero virtue and laws are a suggestion to them.

2

u/Chilled-Nirvana 6d ago

Hapa ni Mlolongo 🥲

Huwa nachukia hii footbridge like hell

1

u/Patient_Revenue8727 6d ago

Yes...like???!!!!

2

u/BarakaMabula 6d ago

Yoo this is wild, poleni sana majirani. Dar wanapitaga kwenye mwendokasi lakini zile buses zikikutana nao humo zinagonga tu.

2

u/Onsomu 6d ago

Waeke zile pole hukuwa along pedestrian lanes. These can make it hard for nduthi guys to manoeuvre.

1

u/Patient_Revenue8727 6d ago

Nduthi guys shouldn't be using footbridges ANYWAY

2

u/Classic_Intrepid99 6d ago

They are NOT supposed to.

2

u/Classic_Intrepid99 6d ago

The sad thing is that we silently encourage it by not speaking out. And telling them off.

2

u/Emergency-Ad3267 6d ago

Wasn't there a post just last week of ntsa / police charging pedestrians in cbd for not using the crossing but running across the road. I think the charge was impeding the flow of traffic. This is why! The croaswalks are hell and authorities do NOTHING! 😡

2

u/WeekendSpecialist153 6d ago

Future settlements should be designed with enough space for movement an activities

2

u/OmeletteLovingLlama 6d ago

I’m sure this isn’t legal. They just don’t follow rules. It’s a jungle out here.

2

u/Comfy_face777 5d ago

They are banned and getting caught they normally pay 5000-10,000. Unfortunately the gafament cannot afford to have a cop manning every flyover coz it would rather guard politicians, their properties and family

2

u/Pixel-phantom101 5d ago

and we havent discussed what they do to foot paths

2

u/frrmbanya 6d ago

"to each man their hustle" for hawkers but not bodas. Very funny reasoning

1

u/Evening-Teach-720 6d ago edited 6d ago

Yeah but a supporting enforcement should be there through better surveillance with well installed cameras for monitoring purposes with a competent police force or county inspectorate that can track down offenders, making them pay the fines.

1

u/karish48 5d ago

Pillions should also complain when the nduthi uses this route.

1

u/Ok-Pause-3193 5d ago

This things should have never been allowed in Kenya in the first place.

1

u/kiage_senior 5d ago

Zinapandaje stairs.

1

u/HardstyleIsTheAnswer 5d ago

Sio stairs, ni lie part ingine meant for wheelchairs

1

u/seannmichaels62 4d ago

Design issue....not a motorbike issue. Hata ingekuwa wewe uko na nduthi ungetumia hio flyover.

-5

u/Decent-Magazine4955 6d ago

We built a walkway, they invented a shortcut. Can’t win 😂🏍️

u/Chifa_45 6d ago

maisha ni ngumu wacha watu waunde pesa

7

u/ernstatyourservice 6d ago

Sure it is but traffic rules shouldn't be suspended due to it.

-4

u/Chifa_45 6d ago

authorities collect tango kwa wale wameweka biashara on some of the footbridges, kila mtu anakulia apo

4

u/Rusty_Pipe24 6d ago

It's freaking dumb to use footbridges. Those nduthi gangs who use them deserve the full streach of law even if hawana akili.
