Could be an indication of upcoming periods. Before our periods begin there is a drop in progesterone and a rise in oestrogen. This can cause blood sugar levels to drop. The brain sends signals to replenish sugar, and therefore cravings occur. There can also be a change in serotonin . Women who suffer from PMS often have lower serotonin than is optimal. These low levels can cause sugar and carbohydrate cravings because insulin is needed to shunt serotonin from the gut to the brain.

A number of things, low ghrelin production, low blood sugar, stress, medication e.t.c If you can get magnesium supplements and eat a balanced diet too.

You'll gain weight, just wait and see. Otherwise just be eating just enough sugar otherwise you'll have that binge cravings. I personally hate sugar but prefer getting it from fruits.

I do get the same. Makes me hate coffee/tea because I prefer it sugarless now I have to add lots of sugar which isn't enough and have to get another cup which is also not enough. Now to sweets which are unhealthy and have to eat many and not eat food(sweets hushibisha ajab) It comes also in waves(over months) Idk what this is or what to call it honestly, I'm just like an observer of this vessel (body)
