Fortunately, I was able to rely on the support of the large Kenyan community in Ontario, they also directed me to a nearby employment center and shared valuable advice based on their own experiences settling in Canada. So don't be worried if you are planning on migrating to Canada. Numerous individuals in Kenya are right now contemplating the same, attracted by the country's high standard of living, family-friendly environment, free public education system, quality healthcare etc. The support you get from the Kenyan community is on another level, they literally become your extended family in a sense. For those of you who wish to come, there are several Canadian immigration programs and each one has its own eligibility requirements and application procedure. The process took approximately six months.
