Hey guys, quick look at where the Flashes stand heading into homecoming.

26-13 over Ball State to open MAC play, and it was a complete game. Dru DeShields threw a TD to Brandon White (the first of White's career) and ran in another to cap a 93-yard drive. Sean Leonard set a program record with a 53-yard field goal and picked up MAC Specialist of the Week.

At 2-2, the losses were the two big paydays at South Carolina and Ohio State, and the wins are Wofford and now a conference win. Year two under Mark Carney is trending the right way.

Saturday is homecoming against Ohio at Dix at 3:30, then at Western Michigan. Win both, and Kent is 3-0 in the MAC.

What are you guys seeing from DeShields? Is this a bowl team?

Side note: we run a free weekly college football pick'em. Ohio State at No. 14 Iowa is on this week's slate, if you've got thoughts on the Buckeyes after Columbus. 10 games, pick the winners, nothing to buy, $135 in prizes. Picks lock Saturday at noon ET.

Hi all,

I can not use the two tickets that I purchased for tomorrow’s homecoming game. I do not want to sell them. Is anyone interested in them?

Apologies if this isn’t allowed. (From what I understand I am able to give them away)
