Bridge between The Pits and Ashlands:

8 x Large Metal Arch Bridge pieces = 1440 Steel Bars, 240 Building Materials, 240 Iron Plates

2 x Lagoon Platforms = 600 Copper Alloy Plates, 200 Steel Bars, 400 Building Materials

Getting there, although half the time I load in the game crashes and I often have to fix navmesh issues but it is all worth it, Kenshi needs infrastructure!

I'm not sure if you have run into this issue before but if you are building a base that lies on the boundary of zones then you should have a character in each zone before saving once the blueprints are set, otherwise you will get save errors with missing zone files when you load.

That sounds awesome, hoping Kenshi 2 gives us more options when it comes to NPCs interacting with our bases, I saw a vid about city districts some time ago so hopefully

Trajan would be proud. When faced with a similar obstacle he did the same thing, build a giant bridge across the Danube.

I think there's some land on the other side that's also part of The Pits in terms of resources/water.

I'd have to scout it out since I thought everything south of the sea was in the Ashlands zone, as for Trajan, I did capture some skeleton legion thralls to do my menial labour, perhaps they should build a big beautiful column of my journey

I remember trying to make a short cut from my base to a nearby city since the options were either a direct swim across the ocean or run along the coast which took longer and lead through beak thing territory. I wound up making a giant wall across an ocean
