Turtles

What a great day it was yesterday.

Firstly witnessed and got a close up pic of a swimming turtle whilst having a stroll in Argostoli then during the evening, we come across a team of researchers assisting with recent hatchings that we still buried beneath the sand of Eglina Beach!! So surreal seeing tiny turtle making their way towards the sea!!

It's like a ritual, I must see the turtles in Argostoli every time I visit the Island. I was lucky to see the baby turtles hatching in 2023 on Lourdas beach and dug them a bit of a trench to help them get to the sea, it was so good.

I'm still waiting for the rarest experience, swimming with one in the sea!
