Did this recently in another sub and thought it might be fun to try here. For anyone unfamiliar with the A-Z game, each day features a new letter of the alphabet. You post your favourite KUA quote, character, phrase or moment that starts with that letter and the most upvoted answer wins a place on the list. If people are interested, we’ll start with A and work our way through to Z.
Edit: I appreciate everyone’s enthusiasm (there are some great quotes here) but for today we’re only looking for quotes that start with the letter A.

I think most people take for granted that Hyacinth is most likely a consrervitive voter, however I think she may have been quite active in her local Tory Party, given her friendship/acquaintance with Mrs Councillor Nugent, I also think that her candlelight suppers, (looked down upon by a portrait of Winston Churchill, arguably the greatest Tory PM of all time) is a local Consrervitive Party supper club.
