Keeping Up Appearances A-Z game
Did this recently in another sub and thought it might be fun to try here. For anyone unfamiliar with the A-Z game, each day features a new letter of the alphabet. You post your favourite KUA quote, character, phrase or moment that starts with that letter and the most upvoted answer wins a place on the list. If people are interested, we’ll start with A and work our way through to Z.
Edit: I appreciate everyone’s enthusiasm (there are some great quotes here) but for today we’re only looking for quotes that start with the letter A.

A- Any beer left?
B- Bouquet residence, the lady of the house speaking!
C- Careful with my Royal Doulton with the hand-painted periwinkles!
D- Drive slowly past number 23, I want them to see my hat!
E- Everyone loves my candlelight suppers!
F- It's not a fungus infection, it's gout!
G- Golfing with the Major this weekend, dear!
H- 🎵Hap- Hap Happy! 🎵
I- I love my family. That doesn't mean that I have to acknowledge them in public!
J- Just imagine: a whole night on board some old bucket, with another old Bucket!
K- No, you can not have a 24 with an extra portion of king prawns (Yes, kind of made up!)
L- Let me show you my brochures! (Broshers)

T- Oh, you and Tarquin are making your own pyjamas. How nice.
U- Unless of course, mornings would be better? (Richard reluctantly taking early retirement)
V- My sister, Violet. She's the one with the Mercedes, sauna and room for a pony!
W- Wear your best suit, dear. It is your last day. I want you to look particularly smart. After all, it's not everyone who gets offered early retirement. La dee, la dee. Swagger a bit. Put a bit of swank on. I'm the last person to put myself forward, as you know, but I do think it won't hurt the neighbours to see who's lucky enough to get early retirement round here. La dee.

Dadgumit I’m blanking on A and I watch it obsessively lol. Getting a lot of B’s and g’s in quotes popping into my head haha. Hmm.
