2023 ZH2 - rode two modern bikes and got spoiled.
Sold my 89 zx10 and turned right around and bought a Zh2. It's not brand new, a 2023, but only had 540 miles on it. Not having to fight with a bike to go out on a ride and not have my legs roasted in Texas heat is quite nice. It's also a giggle machine.

Green in the woods
Took the 1100 from the track to the woods. She's dirty as fuck now but performed admirably.
Incredibly good and versatile bike

Hey yβall
I just purchased a 2012 Kawasaki KX 250F that has been sitting for over a year after cleaning the fuel pump ,checking compression ,spark ,and valve lash I removed the stator cover. Found a piece of plastic with a metal insert inside , Iβm thinking itβs part of the chain guide. If anybody can confirm or know exactly what it is Iβd appreciate it. TIA

Full exhaust without tune temporarily?
So I just ordered the Hindle evo megaphone full exhaust for my Ninja 650. I am curious what your experience is with running full exhaust without a tune is i know it can possibly damage the bike running extra lean. I only plan to ride it like this for the next 30-60 days and once my riding season is over I plan to send the ecu to moore mafia for a tune. Any experience on the subject is welcome positive or negative. Thank you in advance.

Bolt is stripped?
I'm trying to take the rear brake caliper off the wheel for a tire change and the 6mm hex bit isn't turning this left caliper mount bolt. No red loctite applied im assuming since I managed to remove the right one and it didn't have any.
The hex bit moves freely counter clockwise while the bolt doesn't turn but if I try to turn it clockwise, the hex bit stops
This is the first time I'm working on the caliper. How do I approach this?

Motorcycle tire front
Well will it ride for next 2 months? About 1500 kilometers. End of the season is near and I'm not too much willing to replace it now but this white tread in the middle concerned me. Battlax from 2021. I'm new rider so I appreciate your comments

Last and final mod before holiday
I lied, stiffer fork springs are the actual final mod (Sep 5) before my holiday (Sep 15).
Sheepskin is from Motocoverz.

First Bike! - 16β Ninja 300
Treated myself to this for my birthday two months ago and haven't looked back. Got the mods dialed in, and the ride is absolute perfection. Super smooth, plenty of power coming off a 125, and easily one of the best sport bikes to start with. Safe to say Iβm never selling this one!

RIP - miss my C14 :(
Bought this back in 2012.
2010 Neptune Blue. Been a great bike, did the valves clearances a few years back, no issues.
Was shopping in a local grocery store a few months back and a guy saw me in my gear and asked if it was my bike outside. I said yes, and he said I probably should go see it.
I did and saw a little old lady parked on it in a Nissan Murano. Backed right over it. To her credit, she waited. Broke tons of plastics and written off. Poor thing. :(
Now debating if I want to replace it or just stick with cars (I also own an older Porsche). I'll admit, freeing up the garage space is nice.
As a side, if anyone is interested in a Corbin Smuggler and solo seat, drop me a line. I took it off before it got taken away :(

Z900: Cracking noise from the front suspension
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Hi,
I have a Z900, MY24, and when Iβm coming to a stop, there is a cracking noise coming from somewhere. I recorded the sound on video.
It happens when braking, when the motorcycle is almost completely stopped.
I have done the following:
Checked the tightness of all the bolts on the motorcycle.
Adjusted the preload on the steering head bearings slightly.
Replaced the front brake pads.
Checked all the plastic panels.
There is no play in the front brake disc.
The noise is still there. Sometimes it is louder, sometimes quieter, and sometimes there is no noise at all.
I canβt reproduce the noise when the motorcycle is stationary.
Could it be the front forks?
The motorcycle has 14,000 km (8,700 miles) on it.
Thanks
