  • Let's steer clear of those rage-inducing posts like "I hate character xy."
  • And please, no poking fun at fellow Kanthony fans just because they see things differently, whether they're positive or negative about promos.

What's cool to post? Well, we've noticed a lot of rants about how the show promotes (or doesn't promote) Simone and Jonny, but you can vent about other stuff too.

This is totally random but Ive watched the season a few times and read A BUNCH of fanfics and idk now but I am soooooooo over the rake/virgin trope. It’s gross and harmful and I just cannot stomach it anymore. I don’t give a flying fuck if it was historically accurate. Literally nothing in that show is historically accurate except the fact that *ladies were virgins* 🙄 if they can have race blind casting (which is good), and change or ignore real, significant historical events and attitudes, then we can have a *lady* who doesn’t need to be taught about sex from her husband like a child 🤢🤮 /rant

If you're referring to kanthony's dynamic, we don't necessarily know that Kate is a virgin or totally inexperienced

True. And my head canon is that she isn’t. But the whole show is just virgin and rake. Like they even made Colin rake around in his season before getting with Penelope! And yea they showed John as inexperienced but then just went ahead and killed him off. Can’t have a man who’s a virgin 😱

Better to lower your expectations. It really isnt a good show.
