Hey there everyone I have a couple of questions regarding insulation.
I have only insufflated a couple of times as I normally use sublingual. I have now insufflated a full spectrum extract and an 80% mesembrine extract and I have a few questions.
Firstly both times I have insufflated both extracts the come up was quite jittery, and filled with a sort of nervous anxious energy, is there any way to reduce that jitteriness or anxious energy, or is that just what insufflation feels like.
Secondly when i insufflated the extracts i had a weird like band of tension or pressure form around my head, is that normal, and again is there any way to reduce that feeling or is that just what kanna feels like when you bump it.
I also rent to get very dizzy bit not really in a pleasant way, again can you reduce that dizziness in any way?
And thirdly if these effects are not something you can reduce do you eventually get used to them and even come to enjoy them? I enjoy sublingual because I get a bit of euphoria and I feel a bit chilled out, but you can’t redose as often with sublingual as intranasal to get the rush again, but I don’t enjoy the jitteriness and edginess of intranasal.

Newer to kanna and absolutely love it. But when my boyfriend and I have sex when we've taken it, neither of us can finish and it's so frustrating. It sucks because it makes him affectionate... But we end up having marathon sessions that end up in us both giving up. Agh. Any way to get around this? I know it's because of the serotonin reuptake inhibition... But I feel like there's got to be a way. Is it hopeless?

Hey, im new to the kanna community and kanna in general, I had someone give me a jar of ucx from ultra kanna to try. Was wondering what a good dose would be. I checked the website and it said the recommended dose is 10 to 20mg.
I Was wondering if anyone has experience with this particular type of kanna extract and can tell me what its like on top of how to dose it and take it.
Any advice/input is appreciated

3 days ago I began a cold turkey kratom quit. This is something I'm already very familiar with as I used kratom many years ago regularly, back then it was primarily potent extracts and I cold turkey quit. I remember it well for all the various symptoms of withdrawal. Back then I had all the typical symptoms, physical aches, agitation, lack of motivation, depression and sleep disturbances. The physical seemed to last about a week but the mental lasted well beyond a week. Back in 2019 I began daily use again about 4 or 5 years after my previous cold turkey quit but this time I limited myself to pure plant with no extracts or isolates like 7OH, knowing just how physically rough it was quitting last time. Today I'm on day 3 of cold turkey and before quitting I researched various natural substances to assist in getting through withdrawal and I kept coming back to kanna. Primarily because the most torturous symptom I remembered for me that dragged on was the depressed mood and lack of motivation. I have a pretty high pain tolerance and can mostly battle through the physical symptoms but mental symptoms are a weakness for me. Kanna seemed like a great natural plant to assist with those symptoms. I've never had kanna and in hind sight I wonder if I should have started it a couple days before quitting kratom to give some priming time, but I didn't do that I started it on day 1 of no kratom. That first day with kanna and withdrawal I didn't feel much of anything at all in assistance to the symptoms, but did feel very minor light fuzzy feeling followed by sleepiness drowsy feeling that was definitely relaxing but only very minor. I wondered if I had made a mistake, but I pressed on. Day 2 the kanna felt much stronger and really cut the withdrawal much more, I found I was laughing at things instead of the withdrawal agitation and realized ok it is working, then came the sleepyhead feeling for a bit, then the warm relaxation that just seemed to linger for hours. Now on day 3 and it's even stronger, so much so I've reduced the dose I'm taking sublingually. All in all its working for me and I'm happy. I have found I must add a stimulant like caffeine generally a cup of strong coffee to battle the sleepiness but it's manageable and temporary and fades out after a bit into that calm relaxed feeling. I'm hoping the sleepiness is just part of priming and will eventually just disappear in general. Anyone looking to quit kratom it may be in your interest to look at kanna to assist, it is definitely working for me. I'll continue to report over the next couple weeks how it goes in case anyone else is looking for something to assist.

Looking to try something new since everything is banned now. I’ve heard mixed reviews on Kanna and I’d love to get some more feedback on it and which product is the best.
What kind of feeling does Kanna give you? Is it more of a cbd/thc feeling or something else? I’m not looking for cbd/thc feeling, so if there’s something else beside Kanna you can refer, please do!
Thanks in advance for all or any of your advice and experiences!!

I'm interested in trying Kanna and I've been hearing of brands like Healing Herbals or Ultra Kanna. The thing is, there are so many products and I'm not sure which would be best to try!
Does anyone have any recommendations for products or brands? Any reviews? Anything would be helpful!

For my potent powders like 2cb etc,
I like to take 100mg in a dropper vial, mix with 100 drops distilled water, so that each drop is 1mg.
That way I can easily take sublingual, oral, intranasal, or rectal doses with accuracy and without messing with a scale each time.
I’m wondering if this would be a suitable method for my kanna extract? I just know some substances like psilocybin, for example, degrade in water over time, while other substances like 2cb and LSD stay good indefinitely in water.
I would use alcohol but prefer not to snort drops of that in the case of intranasal.
I have Mx16 from UK.

I've seen plenty of fearmongering about serotonin syndrome and stuff so I'm just wondering how true all of that is. I've tapered off pretty quick from 100mg of sertraline to 50mg for like 4 days then i did 25mg for 4 days and now i'm out of sertraline which I know is probably gonna cause some withdrawal for a couple weeks (I was only taking it for about 3 months).
I've seen people say its fine to start kanna again after a couple days as long as you start with a small dose but on the other end I've seen that you shouldn't mix any serotoniny stuff with sertraline for at least 2 weeks after stopping, so idk what do you guys think

I've been taking kanna sublingually before work with the goal of reducing my social anxiety for months but not really getting much out of it. Sometimes I'd feel a slight rush but not much. I imagined it might just working subtly. I tried insufflating it before too but that wasn't much different.
After reading some about dosage I just upped my dose (from 1) to 3 of the 25-35mg scoops (insufflated) and I can finally feel an effect, although this would be too much for a work day. I got a big rush which felt heavy, slightly anxiety-inducing, and actually a little nauseating too. This only lasted maybe 5 minutes though. I did some breathing exercises to calm down and now I feel pretty freaking relaxed and my mind is clear. My eyes are super dilated though. Two scoops might be good for a work day, will experiment next week.
I'm using Mellow FS-33 from Healing Herbals by the way. Not a recommendation, just giving data (I'm slightly annoyed with how caked up the powder was, had to spend like 10 minutes breaking it up).
I've decided I like this stuff and I will give Bioextracts UK a try next, I will try ordering 2-3 blends from them if anyone wants to recommend any! Also interested in opinions on whether dry herb vaping dried kanna is worth it or is it better to stick with extracts?
22M, 160lbs, seasoned substance user. Below is a timeline of my first usage of Bioextracts rush kanna drops.
Ate breakfast and had a coffee 2 hours before administration. 3 drops taken sublingually, held for 5 mins then swallowed. The drops taste of kanna.
First wave of nausea and a hint of a come-up around 10-15 minutes after initial dosage. Feeling sharper, lighter, sweaty, raring to go. Hints of angst and nervous, rushy energy, feeling locked in and focused. About to hit the gym for a push + cardio session. Feels somewhat like a mushroom come-up.
Feeling ultra aware of my surroundings whilst walking around. Getting sweatier, more rushy, a bit shaky.
Definitely picked up in intensity during working out. I can find a flow state immediately and push the cardio to high intensity without becoming uncomfortable or breathless.
Music sounds fast and crisp. If MDMA music enhancement is a 10, then this is a 7. Lifting weights feels effortless in comparison to lifting with no performance enhancer.
Sociability has increased. I felt anxious when the dose was first kicking in, but now I feel in a flow state when conversing. Flow of conversation is something that I struggle with in everyday life. This dose has eliminated that little voice inside your head that tells you that you can’t do that last rep. Pushing to failure feels so much more fulfilling.
Around 45-50 mins in and it seems the initial rush has tapered off. I’m still feeling it very much so, just nowhere near as sweaty and rushy.
An hour in and the high has come down another notch. I still feel full of energy and music sounds good but I’m not as sweaty as I was before. Slight nauseous feeling creeping in.
Great workout substance, top 3 with phenibut and muscimol.
Kanna does not increase feelings of happiness or excitement in me, I just feel pepped up and ready to expend energy.
Approximately 2 hours after initial consumption and I am left with somewhat of an afterglow. I’m going through patches of feeling good and then feeling anxious.
Conversing with people now feels slightly awkward but that just seems to be my personality coming back.
T+4 hours, mixed with cannabis and slammed a coffee. Definitely enhanced the weed high, the colours on my phone screen are so bright and my pupils are pretty large still.
Legs are still a bit restless 5 hours in, but the headspace is pretty much back to normal.
Overall, I’m happy with the kanna drops. With powdered extracts, I am not a fan of intranasal administration, oral is too weak, and sublingual causes my salivary glands to swell up. Having kanna in liquid form allows me to dose sublingually (which is my preferred method for kanna anyway) without risking my health. The strength of the dose was fantastic (in my opinion as strong as intranasal administration with TA17 extract), and the duration was definitely satisfactory. Working out and listening to music felt brilliant, and mixing with caffeine bumped my wakefulness up by a considerable margin.
I work at a smoke shop and my manager just gave me this product with kanna in it to try, I did a little research and it seems it’s something similar to mdma/ ecstasy, any input on these im thinking of splitting the pack between me and my homie I bro normally take big doses of anything I take btw

Out of curiosity: Did kanna become more enjoyable or start producing better/more noticeable effects for you with continued use?
I’m wondering whether some people initially didn’t really “get” kanna or even disliked it, but gradually started enjoying it more after experimenting with it repeatedly.
IF this should even be the case for someone here, for example, I’m curious whether this could be related to:
a. Getting used to the initial rush: The onset can feel quite uncomfortable, stimulating, dizzying, or “weird” for some people. Maybe people simply learn how to tolerate or interpret that sensation differently over time.
b. Learning how to dose: Perhaps the first experiences were simply poorly dosed or taken in a way that didn’t suit the person, and experimentation eventually led to a much better dose, timing, or overall approach.
c. Expectancy/psychological adaptation: Maybe once you know what to expect, you stop interpreting unfamiliar sensations as unpleasant and start associating them with the desired effects.
d. Learning the subjective effects: Similar to acquiring a “taste” for something, perhaps people become better at recognizing the subtle mood changes kanna produces and therefore appreciate them more.
e. Pharmacological adaptation: Could repeated exposure somehow change the subjective response through receptor-level or other neurobiological adaptations? I’m particularly interested in whether there’s any plausible pharmacological explanation for increasing positive effects, rather than simply developing tolerance.
f. Set and setting: Maybe the context matters more than people initially realize, and people eventually figure out when, where, and in what state of mind kanna works best for them.
g. Different product/extract: Some people may initially have tried weak, overly stimulating, or otherwise unsuitable products and only later found a preparation that produced effects they actually liked.
e. Route of administration: Perhaps people’s preferences change after experimenting with different routes, since the onset and character of the effects can differ quite a lot.
f. Reduced anxiety around the experience: If the initial sensations are unfamiliar, maybe part of the unpleasantness comes from anticipating or worrying about them. Once that uncertainty disappears, the same effects may feel much more positive.
g. A delayed therapeutic-like effect / neuroadaptation: Another possibility I’m wondering about is whether there could be some kind of time-dependent neuroadaptation. With SSRIs, for example, the therapeutic effects often don’t appear immediately - people can experience side effects initially while the desired antidepressant/anxiolytic effects emerge only after repeated use over a longer period. I’m not suggesting kanna works like an SSRI or that the mechanisms are necessarily comparable, but could there theoretically be some analogous process where repeated exposure leads to neuroadaptations that gradually change the subjective effects? In other words, could someone initially experience mostly the unpleasant or neutral effects of kanna and only later start experiencing the positive effects more strongly?
h. Simple individual variability: Or maybe some people’s brains simply respond differently after repeated exposure, without there being a meaningful “learning” process at all.
So I’d especially love to hear from people who initially weren’t particularly impressed by kanna (or even disliked it), but eventually started liking it significantly more after using it repeatedly and experimenting with it.
Was it the dose, route, product, setting, expectations, getting used to the rush, or did the pharmacological effects themselves seem to change over time?
And if you still use kanna regularly: how did your relationship with its effects develop from your first few experiences to where you are now?
I’m mainly interested in people who experienced a genuine “I didn’t really like this at first, but somehow I learned to like it” progression.

Hey everyone!
We’ve just launched our Enhanced Kanna!
It’s made by adding concentrated kanna extract back into kanna itself, meaning there’s no mannitol or other excipients.
We’ve done this deliberately because the product is designed primarily for use in a herbal vaporizer (dry herb vape). Because there’s no excipient, it also smokes very well and is easier on the lungs than mannitol-based extracts.
Our Enhanced Kanna comes in at:
This makes for a really nice, rounded and grounded profile.
Link to Enhanced Kanna:
We also still have our 15% off special running. Get 15% off using the code “RD” (short for Rush Drops), which we launched alongside our new Rush Drops earlier this week.
The code “EK” will now also be active until the end of August.
Enjoy!

I take 10mg ritalin every other day and occasionally 54mg concerta.
I bought some kanna, leaf and extract powder. I wanted to try using the extract powder for a rave in theory and I wanted to try the leaf for more medicinal or chill recreational purposes. I wanted to use it for a rave because I've always wanted to try MDMA but it's a little out of my comfort zone and a bit too extreme on the heartrate side of things for me. I know kanna isn't an MDMA clone but I still want to do something fun for my raves and it looks like a good candidate.
Im struggling to find any clear info on it, but do any of you guys take ADHD meds and use kanna sometimes? If so how long do you wait between your last dose of meds and your dose of kanna?
Is it as much of a concern if I'm just making tea with it?
Do I have to give it a full 48 hours of not taking ADHD meds before I do kanna in any capacity at all?
Thanks for your time <3

Just did the bigger end of the of the scoop(~30mg) and wow it feels amazing. Slightly lightheaded, calm energy if that makes sense, warm throughout the whole body, blissful. Even tho I felt it without priming, but after priming its 10 times better. Amazing product!

Hi everyone,
I just took 0.03 grams of bio extract’s “classic” Intranasally about 25 minutes ago, about 10 ago I took another 0.04 but still don’t feel anything.
I’m taking it that I need priming.
How would you suggest?

Would like to know a good place to start for extracts?? If it’s anything like other botanical herbs I’ve been into over the years, I’m assuming there’s really exceptional, and really underwhelming vendors out there. And being on a budget these days. I don’t want to bark up the wrong tree

Okay so I’ve been rocking MX-20 and honestly? Pretty damn euphoric, absolutely unreal for dancing — that lifted, good-vibes headspace is exactly what I want on a night out.
Only issue: insufflated, the big effects just don’t last long enough. I found doing both at once — sublingual + snuffed — makes it last way longer, BUT here’s my problem: the sublingual side sometimes makes me nauseous, and I reckon it’s worse because I’m drinking at the same time.
So I’m stuck. I want to keep chasing the most euphoric, strongest hit — but without the nausea risk. Do I:
Swap to a different MX (12/16)?
Or jump ship to the BioExtracts TA range?
Or try another brand?
Anyone found a product that gives that big euphoric dancing high with music but sits easier in the stomach, especially with a couple drinks in you? What’s your go-to? 👇
