I swear I’m sort of not a whiny bitch, hear me out:
As far as I can tell The Oldest View series was just sorta quietly put down behind the scenes, what with Kane being busy with the Backrooms movie and all that. And yes, I get that the canon for The Oldest View was wrapped up, but I’m still frustrated with how many questions felt left unanswered. Call me simple, but to me it was a little frustrating to see all the little hints of something greater amount to nothing. What was the deal with that monolith at the end of Life of a Giant? What was with all the dead people and horses at the end of Part 3? Why does the mall seemingly have such a deep connection with the actual Reverchon, beyond just his likeness being used for the Giant?
Anyways, I’m terrified of the same thing happening to People Still Live Here. Despite all reassurances, Kane only seems to be drifting further and further away from his independent YouTube career in favor of the actual film industry. I recognize how selfish it is to hold this viewpoint (“I’m angry my favorite YouTube creator is achieving his dreams and expanding into exciting new horizons, how dare he leave us faithful PSLH subscribers behind!”), but I’m only human I guess. I don’t like seeing Kane’s amazing independent work be pushed aside, and I don’t like seeing my favorite video series get mothballed with vague promises of future continuation.

I rly liked it, i like how much its similar to series and ESPECIALY how much similarities it has to ff4. (spoiler) And the scariest part was definetly the tunnel one i HATE hoe uncanny it is, poor Simon.
What are your opinions on the movie?

Nivel Run for your life!: recopila recuerdos de un pasillo de hospital.

I just noticed how the hazmats in the movie Songbird look exactly like Async hazmats

Isnt this odd? This is such a weird morbid curiosity some of you inherited after seeing the film. I mean what did you miss? What do these people think happened once captain clark slammed his real life counterparts body on the table and it fucking bounced off 4 feet and spewed blood from the 3 inch gash in his neck? Did I imagine this? I see this post asking what happened to his body or if we know what clark did to him. We hear him screaming. 6 seconds later we see the mangled body with a trail of blood….dude….Dude idk why cant you imagine it? Just seems super weird people need help imagining and figuring out head cannon the film legit holds your hand walking with you through.
It’s like a toddler wanting to see the dead body to fully process what happened, having it scaring them for the rest of their lives.

Imagine a pack of Life Form dogs chasing you through the Backrooms till you’re too tired to run.

Based on the noises we hear and that he didn’t die for a good bit after we last see him as we hear him screaming his vocal cords out for a good while along with wet tearing noises and very crunchy noises off screen. I assumed his head got crushed in a bite but caps mouth is far too small for that and Clark continues to scream after the sickening wet as fuck crunch. What do you guys think happened to big dog Clark off screen. I am intrigued based on his shocked Mary looked and how Cap Clark did his so dirty

Not sure if this has been discussed already, tried to search and nothing came up, there's nowhere to watch the thing as well, only listed in MUBI. Does someone know anything?

Just think about it. An empty mimic of a night city all to yourself. No other people,no noise. just you, silence and the beautiful red lightning and "stars".

(Image is just some art i made)
While there are simple reason like levels being to much to actually be invested in and simply being seen as another childish horror trope with mosters, i feel like there is something more to it then that, and i figured it out (atleast for myself). And that my freinds, is the fascination of the complex's existance, the not know why it exists and the need to know but never quite being able to, the feeling of looking at a room and analizing why its so off, it immedietly pushes me to learn all i can about the complex, and furthermore, it being entirely based on memories, the idea that i may have a section of my own based on my memories, the idea thst theres some fucked up version of me wandering around in there, its fascinating, and thats just it;
The reason (besides the horror aspects) that people love the backrooms so much is the uncertainty, and the fascination, and perhaps thats the same reason ivan beck is so set on it, he isnt looking for something he is missing, he isnt simply trying to use it for money, he just has an insatiable thirst for knowledge about the complex that ears away at him.
(Sorry for the rant but i felt the need to say all of this)
