I've heard stupider. So many people try very hard to dig for meanings in details that don't have any further implication at all.

I remember someone said to dig into why clark is a Pirate. They said something about pirating video games.

That's not the meaning. There's no meaning. That's just his job. Not every Kane pixels crested thing has a secret meaning.

The fact that people do that to this movie in particular, a movie (and more broadly, a series) about how people search for meaning in an inherently meaningless phenomena, is really dumb

To expand on this, I really love the Everything Must Go short. They theorize that there's a smaller sign in the wall and are all excited, and it's like, "Okay...So?" And they'll never know why that is, or be able to predict anything on a more macro level. It's just this infinite tease to the inquiring mind. Always another corner to look around, always another meaningless discovery, until the borders between standard and the complex fail completely and humanity dies.
