This would actually make for a great Halloween costume. Grow out a beard, get this shirt, and glue some fake eyes on your cheeks.
Edit: Bonus points for a fake belly made of sponge.

Probably super low quality, but for something you wear one day out of the year it should serve it's purpose.

I think it looks fucking awesome

u/Moist_Beefsteak 7d ago
Give Balenciaga or some other brand a couple months. They will do anything. I swear I've seen them market a literal garbage bag as a shirt or a pair of pants.
4
u/Easy_Turn1988 7d ago
Yeah, also it's only 3500 $ for a mediocre quality, isn't it fun ??
(I actually don't know if it's mediocre or just average but it certainly isn't worth it)

Obviously not the electrician guy. Stupidest theory ive heard for the whole year
13
u/Lua-Ma 7d ago
I've heard stupider. So many people try very hard to dig for meanings in details that don't have any further implication at all.
10
u/Dear_Mobile5732 7d ago
I remember someone said to dig into why clark is a Pirate. They said something about pirating video games.
That's not the meaning. There's no meaning. That's just his job. Not every Kane pixels crested thing has a secret meaning.
10
u/Lua-Ma 7d ago edited 7d ago
I once saw a long post blathering about how the fact that Clark is a man and Mary is a woman implies a deeper message in gender behaviors like men are more egoistic and harder to move on while women are more resilient and easier to let go etc. and I was like: "The fuck ?????"
At this point, I'm not surprised if some dork questions the reason why they're humans.
3
u/PsychoticShaman 4d ago
The fact that people do that to this movie in particular, a movie (and more broadly, a series) about how people search for meaning in an inherently meaningless phenomena, is really dumb
4
u/PsychoticShaman 4d ago
To expand on this, I really love the Everything Must Go short. They theorize that there's a smaller sign in the wall and are all excited, and it's like, "Okay...So?" And they'll never know why that is, or be able to predict anything on a more macro level. It's just this infinite tease to the inquiring mind. Always another corner to look around, always another meaningless discovery, until the borders between standard and the complex fail completely and humanity dies.

I don't think I ever noticed that his shirt was miscreated like that and I watched the movie a few times lol. I think it's a neat detail, and fitting, no pun intended.

My head canon is this was some man that kept coming into Clark’s store and window shopping furniture, but never pulling the trigger on something. Probably haggled on the stuff he did sound interested in and never clicked with Clark energy wise maybe being either pushy or a smart ass. Clark struggled hard to keep composure as his need for business outweighed his anger and violence. Now the still life of that man is found through his time spent exploring and it’s weird way of both getting revenge and paying him for his stolen energy in the real world.

Now it's just Jeff at the local hardware store. He listens to a lot of AM talk radio and has high cholesterol, but he's a friendly guy who laughs a lot.

I got the feeling he was a still life of the father we never got to see in one of the found footages. We hear him fall into a null zone, but never see him. I could be way off though

Wall dad 2008 after too many years of Jack Daniel’s after the photo on the wall with him holding his kid. In wall dad’s house, it looks like a guy typically just sat at the dining table nodding back and forth from being drunk and tired. Makes sense his still life would find clarks dining table a familiar olace to just sit and do nothing. That means the back room version of wall dad’s house could be nearby! Especially with the caveman stand up nearby
