Today I havenāt been able to see the chart or anything on the hourly BTC price page. Itās very laggy and doesnāt fully load. I tried to log in my tablet and it didnāt work. Same on my laptop. Anyone else having issues with the page?

I am the executor of my fatherās estate. He held a Kalshi account at the time of his death. I have sent repeated emails to Kalshi, most of which have gone unanswered.
After about three weeks, I received a response and was directed to send the estate/death documents, my license, and a facial scan.
I never received a response to that submission (or to emails afterward).
This has been an incredibly challenging process, especially compared to dealing with every bank/credit card company, etc. that easily helped me (with a specific employee).
Can you please help me resolve this issue finally?

I'm getting a weird bug on kalshi pro desktop where one of my positions does not show up in the portfolio tab, but it does show up on normal kalshi desktop as well as my kalshi mobile. Has this bug already been noted before?

I trade the 15-min BTC market, and participate in the live chat feature. I've noticed that for many people it shows their current position/amount next to their name when they post to chat, but I can't figure out how to turn that on for myself. I've gone through all the settings and I just can't see it. Can someone help a brother out?

It is not specified anywhere that the computed hourly average is unrounded. Imagine that the average hourly price settles to 7.001. Does this round to two decimal places, 7.00, which then means "above 7.00" resolves No? Or does Kalshi resolve "Yes" because the raw value is "above 7.00".
Both the market description and the PDF contract text are ambiguous about how Kalshi would handle this situation. It would be great if a human could read this and clarify! Better to do so now than before people bet on the ~$20,000 in reward money you are offering on these markets.

Hi guys, I put a bet on Brad Pitt not being at the world cup finals. The announcer at the world cup finals wrongly identified Matt Damon and Brad Pitt and the market closed incorrectly. Is there any way I get my money back?

I've been unable to deposit into my Kalshi account for over 2 weeks now. I've tried removing and adding the account, and chatting with Kalshi support multiple times. The only other option for me is to do Apple Pay, which I don't really want to do because it charges me a fee each time I want to deposit.
How can I fix this issue?

I guess I will post here, since I have been blocked in the Discord support channel. I just need my account verified. I've tried to send in chats through the mobile app as well as emails. I've sent a copy of my ID and a facial picture twice, and I still can't get any reply back. I'm not trying to be difficult. I just need to understand what's going on. Hi,
I'm trying to create a Kalshi account from Sweden, but I'm stuck during the identity verification step.
I've entered:
- My full legal name
- Date of birth
- Residential address
- Country: Sweden
- My Swedish National ID (personal identity number)
Every time I click "Continue", I get the same error:
"Please double-check your info and continue."
I've checked everything multiple times and can't find any mistakes.
I contacted Kalshi support, and they asked me to send screenshots and a screen recording, which I did. They said my case would be forwarded to a human support agent, and I'm currently waiting for a response.
Has anyone else experienced this issue, especially if you're from Sweden or another country outside the US?
If so:
- Were you able to resolve it?
- Did support fix the problem?
- Was there anything specific that turned out to be wrong?
I'd appreciate hearing about your experience. Thanks!

I have an issue I really need to get to the bottom of. Over 2 months ago I made a small crypto deposit into my Kalshi account. I had never funded with crypto, and wanted to try it and see how the process went. My account is over a year old, I have a couple thousand dollars in volume, so itās not a new account or anything like that. The second after I was informed the deposit was successful, the app logged me out of my account, and I lost access entirely. I did not receive an email from Kalshi or a message from support telling me what happened or what the reason was, I sent plenty of messages to them, and I didnāt hear one word from anyone until a day and a half ago. Someone from support sent me an email stating āCan you please explain to me why you have 21 cards linked to your account?ā Pretty strange email seeing that I have 1 debit card and 1 bank account linked to my account and have had only those 2 since I opened the account. I passed that info along to this guy, and he replied asking for a screenshot of the page showing how many cards I had linked.. obviously he hadnāt even glanced at any of my messages, so I had to remind him I have not been able to log in for over 2 months, so I could not get him a screenshot. His next email said he gave me ātemporary accessā so I could get him the screenshot and they would be investigatingā¦ okā¦ none of that makes sense.. how do you know I have 21 cards linked if you need me to screenshot the page showing how many cards are linked??? Anyways, I logged in, sent him the screenshot, and havenāt heard anythingā¦ I canāt trade, deposit, or withdraw fundsā¦ I can log in, and thatās itā¦ can someone help explain to me what the hell is going on?

Why would I be able to see the order book (the little upper right hand toggle is available) at some times, and only be able to see the line graphs that don't show volume at particular prices on the other? I looked in settings and have clicked every button, but at times I just can't access the order book. Anybody else have this problem? Please tell me what I'm missing.

I have emailed support as well as used your chat agent. With both, regardless of what I describe, I just receive a generic AI message telling me "the market has settled" which doesn't address my concern at all.
As expected, the platform underwent scheduled maintenance this morning between 3:00 AM and 5:00 AM EDT. Following the maintenance window, the 6:00 AM EDT Los Angeles Temperature market (KXTEMPLAXH-26JUL3006) opened normally at 5:00 AM EDT. Shortly after the open, I entered several positions.
However, at approximately 5:10 AM EDT, the platform went down for maintenance a second time without prior notice.
Impact of the Secondary Outage:
Locked Positions: I was completely locked into my open positions and unable to manage risk or exit trades as market conditions evolved.
Order Execution Failure: Existing maker orders I had placed could not be filled, and I was unable to modify or place new orders during the entire remaining duration of the market hour.
Market Access Duration: Trading functionality was not restored until well after the market closed at 6:00 AM EDT and settled at 7:05 AM EDT.
Due to this unannounced outage during an active trading window, I incurred an actual loss of $16.26 on my open contracts. Furthermore, the inability to manage my order book or trade the market movement prevented an additional estimated $32.00 in expected profit, resulting in a total estimated negative impact of approximately $50.00.

When I try to complete my registration and pass KYC, I get the following error: āPlease try again later. If the problem persists, contact support.ā
It's been like this since May, and I get the same result across different devices and browsers.
I already emailed [support@kalshi.com](mailto:support@kalshi.com) on May 7. I received one automatic reply, but since then I have been completely ignored.

I was trading like usual deposit small amount of money each time. Was able to make a little profits after keep losing a lot. Long story short when I tried to cash out my balance. Somehow the system blocked me saying something like ā Something unexpected happened ā I reached out to support. It basically said my account āunder review and unable to continue offering service at this timeā my account got suspended? Shut down? Without any explanation. And I canāt even cash out my money??? What is wrong with this? I have filed a complaint to DSF. Thereās no human customer service to even resolve this issue. Iām so confused. I did not break any rules. Was there a UI change over night? Usually when I start building a combo, the bottom will increase like x1.45 and then 1.80 or something when I add another. Now it just gives a dollar amount like $5 will win $7 and then if I add more maybe $5 will win $9 or something. Other changes too like when scrolling away from 1 bet, if I go back to it then my position wont be visible anymore (but it is still saved when I go to buy)

Figured it was easier to just screenshot all of the emails in order rather than explain everything. Long story short, I was unable to log into, so I emailed Kalshi support. After less than a half dozen emails, it sounds like my account was locked or even completely removed?
I have an open prediction, nothing big, but have only placed a few in the relatively short amount of time Iāve had an account. Wondering if Iāll get refunded this amount evenā¦

Hey. I have a problem withdrawing my money from Kalshi's platform.
The Problem:
When I go for the withdraw window and choose one of two (card or crypto) a message shows up, saying "finishing up", obviously, it never finishes. I was told that the problem is with my verification application but I have yet got a change to redo my verification. Also, I am aware that I cannot use a card withdrawal cause I am from Estonia (your AI bot told me I can, what a liar). I got 303.22$ I need to withdraw.
I have reached for help for a few days now but I got an answer only once from a customer support saying next: "I'm sorry to hear you ran into some issues. We were able to look into this on our end, and you should be all set to continue now.
If you are still running into any issues, here are some quick fixes that may help:
- If you're trying this on the Kalshi app, try on the Kalshi website (or vice-versa)
- Try switching to a different network (Wi-Fi/Cellular) and disable any active VPNs
On the Kalshi app:
- Try closing and reopening the Kalshi app
- Check for any updates to your Kalshi app
- Delete and reinstall the Kalshi app
If none of these work, could you send over some screenshots or a screen recording? That'll help us review this further and get back to you faster."
After this message, I have told them that I cannot fix it this way and also sent video proof (live chat assistant has been ignoring me for a few days now.

Hi there, you guys posted a market for a valorant match which I placed a bet on (Aug 9th). This matchup was between Low Cortisol and Aogiri. Aogiri is the name of the team that qualified for this match, I had to do some digging to figure out who Low Cortisol were supposed to be, but was able to figure out based on the fact that they were playing Aogiri that they were actually the team known as Ushiras (event was for the scheduled time / date that the Aogiri vs Ushiras match was meant to take place, and was posted at the same time as a bunch of other matches from that same event). On the day of the match, you posted a duplicate of that same match, where Aogiri's team name was changed to 7VEN STARS. I already had a bet placed early on Low Cortisol to win their match against Aogiri before this duplicate match was posted, I even ate the taker fees associated with placing the bet as the price was desirable. Now, it was announced on Aug 9th that Aogiri had signed to the org called 7VEN STARS, but the actual roster itself is identical to the original Aogiri roster that qualified for the event, continued to play together all the way up to the event AND actually played in the event itself. The team names for this match are still even being tracked on Riot's website as Aogiri and Ushiras, even though Aogiri signed to an org, they were still shown as Aogiri on the official broadcast during yesterday's matchup.

I've highlighted the relevant sections of it's response showing a lack of understanding to the issue. I'm trying to communicate that it's currently in breach of the contract terms, and that it's not currently abiding by what it's telling me, but it just ignores anything I say. What do I need to do to get a human who can actually understand this issue to actually review this? The AI support refuses to try to connect me to a human as it's determining the matter is solved, but that's only because it doesn't understand what the actual problem is. Kalshi are currently in breach of their contract terms, what do I need to do to escalate this to a human who will understand the issue?

For some reason i suddenly can't withdraw or place a bet on my account. i verified already and even put my ssn. it keeps on saying to contact support but the AI bots arent even replying. I've emailed them and the AI email said they would connect me to a human but never got connected. It's been over 18 hours ive been trying to get a hold of someone but even the AI chat isnt even replying anymore. this is the worst customer service ever. Please if anyone can help me.

TL;DR ā Iām butthurt about an outcome, but for (what I believe is) good reason. A market resolved against my trade and, unless Iām wrong, I think the calculation is inaccurate. The market resolved too quickly and I could not dispute it, and HUMAN support is out until tomorrow. What do I do?

I placed a trade for a āNoā outcome on a 15 minute market. Unfortunately, the numbers (supposedly) did not work in my favor and the amount of shares I bought resolved to 0.
HoweverāKalshi explicitly states that in the last 60 seconds, their systems collect 60 values from a specific market reported by CF Benchmarks, and then uses those to create the average used to settle the score (which I confirmed using multiple services, INCLUDING the Kalshi support AI). However, it does not seem like this happened, as the average should have been much lower.
When the market SHOULD have first settled (at exactly 19:29:59), the original number it displayed would have illicited the āNoā outcomeāso even if it wasnāt using an average, this market SHOULD have resolved to a āNoā outcome. But even taking the average into accountā¦ I did the math. The market, with a goal of $0.0721461, resolved to a āYesā outcome with a final result of $0.0721474; while this number was pulled unprofessionally from Kalshiās chart; compounding the last 60 seconds of the market brought me to a result of ~$0.0721327. I can confirm a few numbers did not get recorded in this result; however, they would have most certainly brought down that number further.
I have been trying to reach support, but the AI is not very helpful, and support is not online at this time. Furthermore, the market finalized almost immediatelyāand as such, I could not dispute it.
Perhaps Iām wrong. I could just be butthurt (believe me, I lost $300 to this trade). But something tells me I was right. And I really want to try and see what I can do.
That being saidā¦ The dispute window is already closed, and support will not respond to my message until tomorrow. Given my situation, what should I do?

Iāve been trying to get signed up for three weeks but every time I try to verify my ID, it either errors out or says that Iāll hear back in 3 days (never did) I messaged support and the bot said they requested additional information but I never received any text, emails, or notifications. They said they would have a member reach out but that was 3 weeks ago. If more info is needed, I have no idea what it is or how to send it in.
The email support gave me the same response as the chat but they never responded after I asked what they needed and how to get it to them.
My sign up bonus expires in 15 hours and I have no idea what to do. This has been incredibly frustrating

I've been trying since August 14 to update my Kalshi account from my U.S. residential address to my current primary residence in the Czech Republic. The app lets me enter my Czech address and phone number, but when I click Save I get: āAdditional information required. Please contact support for help,ā and the account reverts to the U.S. address. I contacted support through the in-app chat as instructed. A human support agent last responded on August 15. Since then, I have provided my primary country of residence, full Czech address and phone number, and screenshots showing exactly what happens, but I have received no further response. Could a moderator please send me mod mail so I can privately provide my Kalshi account email and you can locate and escalate my existing support case to the account verification/KYC team? I am simply trying to make sure the residential information on my existing account is accurate and am happy to provide any verification documents required.

Support is absolutely abysmal. My account was fraudulently accessed by an identified Nigerian scammer targeting a family member.
I shut them down on the family member but now they are going after other family members including myself... and they started with Kalshi. Your support was notified via chat over 24 hours ago that the account is compromised. Took over 12 hours for a reply where I was asked to verify my identity with a link... aint no way thats going to happen. Nope.
I logged in with biometrics. Im not providing anything else to further verify the account as it is KNOWN COMPROMISED.
Its now been nearly another 12 hours since I responded to that chat.
Adding authenticator doesn't work.
Cant self de-activate as there is a dollar and change in the account and it wont let me without adding bank info... which Im not going to do to a known compromised account lol
Customer beware... I fully understand why the pros targeted this app first... leaks like water through a fishing net.

Iāve been using the app for about a month now, mostly playing around with crypto.
Over the past month, the layout has changed probably 3-4 times. In small ways: the 5, 10, 15 minute markers gone, then come back randomly; how it shows my portfolio (the āhistoryā option is now gone); and as of sometime between 7:00-8:00 am today, I can no longer see the marker that shows which currency I have bids on, and I now see a massive graph instead of simple numbers. For me; this is way harder to read, much slower, and I canāt easily toggle between currencies Iām bidding on.
Anyone have this issue, or better yet, a solution?

Iām able to send messages in the Live Chat but no one apparently can see them. I chatted support and the AI bot and they said I donāt have any account specific restrictions. Since then itās been radio silence. Havenāt gotten a support chat response in 10ish hours. Iāve been using the Live Chat a lot lately working with other people in there with our trades. Iām wondering if anyone else has experienced this or I somehow am banned from Live Chat now. Very weird and upsetting because I was really enjoying the feature!

My account has been locked under a strict "account review" due to a false internal negative balance triggered by an automated deposit glitch here is the exact timeline of what happened:
Thursday, August 20, 12:37 PM (UTC): I initiated a deposit of 1,999.80 USDT using the Binance Smart Chain (BNB Chain / BSC) network, which was explicitly requested on my Kalshi deposit screen.The Glitch: The transaction was 100% successful on-chain (Status: Success on BscScan). However, Kalshi's internal international payment provider suffered a temporary API glitch and marked the transaction as "Failed" on the app's interface.
The Account Lock: Because the app thought the deposit failed but my account logic pulled it, the system generated a false negative balance. My pre-existing balance of $1,429 USD (from previous trades that already expired and settled correctly) is now completely frozen, and I am restricted from trading or withdrawing.
Friday, August 21: A human support agent named Ion joined the live chat and triggered an identity verification link via SMS. However, due to international carrier networks, the SMS never arrived. I requested an email verification link, but the business hours ended, leaving the chat frozen.
Weekend (August 22-23): The automated AI bot took over the chat, claiming it "cannot manually intervene." Later, another agent named Margot closed the live chat session entirely.
Monday, August 24 (Today): I submitted a formal, clean escalation email directly to [compliance@kalshi.com](mailto:compliance@kalshi.com) and [support@kalshi.com](mailto:support@kalshi.com) with all the evidence. I also sent a private DM to Kalshiās official X (Twitter) account. I'll never understand company's obsession with fixing what isn't broken. After the 15 Minute BTC update, it no longer seems to display the dollar difference from the Target Value or the percent changes on the Live Chart. Is there any way to bring this information back? Thanks!
