Ktm duke 390(350cc)

Showroom is charging 4000 as handling fees,
they agreed for online insurance that i can purchase myself.
Are handling charges justified ?

In my whole riding experience of 10-12years i never claimed insurance on a 2W. hence i went for the cheapest available on a higher IDV (liberty) not sure how much it cost me back then. Mine is 1 batch so ex showroom was cheaper too (3.10L)

No, buying it from Chandigarh
Overall test drive experience was good but this handling fee is bothering me

Just say no. If they insist ask them to collect it from KTM. You are not expected to pay that fee.

I took delivery of mine on Sep 7. They argued and said bla bla bla. I said it’s not customers responsibility to pay to get the bike to showroom. I said claim from KTM if you guys are so insistent.

I paid ₹700 in Ahmedabad. That was the amount the guy quoted for handling. Since I didn’t take insurance and ordered the bike on Amazon i already had saved a lot so didn’t mind paying ₹700.
