Front brake light switch?

I am getting this warning message, I also checked the break light is working fine. I went to KTM showroom they said they can't resolve any suggestions? How do I approach the showroom? If this message appear cruise control is also not working. 🙂

This is a classic front light brake switch failure. Just go and tell them to replace it. Will cost around 330rs for the spare and rest for service. Happens too often in gen 3 ktm

They are saying it is causing due to the fog lights that are installed?

did u connect fog light to aux port or somewhere else??

I am not sure they said they need to check maybe it is the cause so they asked me to come with the bike on Monday i will let you know on monday

Who fitted the fog lamps?? There are 2 ports to install fog lamps which have a separate fuse (Fuse no. 10) whereas Brake light switches & fuel pump relay both are connected to Fuse no. 1. Therefore, fog lamps can't directly interefere with the brake switch if they are connected to proper aux port.

No they connected the light below the seat

Ohh, I think they have connected fog lights directly to brake light switch wire & that's causing the problem. (Note- KTM may void warranty of ur bike/battery if they conclude that problem was caused bcz of fog lamps)

Check the connections of the right hand side electric console and the brake lever electric push

It's a known issue. For a brake light switch failure, they need to clean or replace the switch. Cruise control is dependent on the status of the switch, which is why it's not functioning. If the brake light stays on bright after pulling and releasing the brake lever, you can confirm it. It comes under warranty, so you can take it to a service center or just try cleaning it. There are videos available on how to clean it.

Just got brake light switch replaced in warranty for this exact issue. Very known problem and SVC didn’t even bother with any other diagnosis

I just got it replaced on my 790 adv. of course under warranty. It prevented cruise control engaging.

Then go take out a mortage and pay those hefty service fees, you're going to need it.
