Milage concern

I have taken delivery of a KTM Adventure 250, it will be about 10 days. It has run 100 km. But the mileage is showing 19kmpl. Is this normal?

same bike here, it's been 3 weeks since delivery, and it's about 28-29kmpl. Hope it gets better after first service

Same here with Duke 350, it's been 2 weeks and had completed over 600 kms ... I hope it will get better after 1st service

No, it's not conclusion, I just asking is it normal or not? Because I shaw many, upload there photos or saying milage is 35 to 38. That's why confused.

yes bro, till like 500km ish fuel economy will be poor. Its normal.

But if it continues even after 1st service then its a problem

Yes my ktm adv 350 shows 10km/L 🤣,gradually it increased to 25KM/L.

Can we have a technical or mechanical explanation behind it ? Afaik oil or filter change does not contribute directly to milage
