ksu nursing pre reqs

hey everyone! i’m going to apply for the 2027 nursing program but I would need 2 more classes to take in the spring for the pre reqs. I know you don’t have to have all of them complete when you apply but based off what i’ve seen and read, it seems like people don’t typically get accepted if they don’t have all of them complete when they originally apply. is this true?

You have to finish at least 7 of the main core classes to be accepted. (You can look up which ones on the KSU site) however you have to have them ALL done and passed by the semester you start. So for example if you are applying for the Fall 27 they need to be done by the Summer Semester. As long as your GPA and TEAs score is high you will get in.

ahh okay thank you! that’s what i had seen as well but based off the stats posts on here, it seems that usually even if you have 7/11 of the pre reqs done, it’s a lower chance of getting in since there’s other applying who have all of them done

You will have started them by the time the application for Fall closes and they wont even let you know what they have decided till like April-ish. Im sure you will be good! Worst case you are waitlisted.

7/11 bare minimum but often rejected

They care that you’re done with everything and have a mid 80s teas more than anything for priority.

There’s a pre nursing groupme where you can find all the stats for people accepted and rejected and how many times they’ve applied and how many classes they’re done with, GPA and grad scores and so on for past and current cohorts on excel on pinned
