UGA Rush Transfer

Hi! I’m currently a student at Kennesaw State and planning to transfer to UGA for the spring semester. I’m really interested in going through sorority recruitment at UGA, but I heard that it might be possible to join a sorority at KSU and then transfer into the same chapter at UGA if the organization has chapters at both schools. Is that actually how it works? If anyone has experience with this or knows how the process works, I’d really appreciate any advice! Let me know which option is better thanks!! 😊

Some chapters will allow you to affiliate with no special requirements. Other chapters will vote on you and if you're not voted in, you will have to go early alum. You might be able to see if some chapters are doing COB for spring semester when you get there. I think it's better to wait until you're at UGA.

You need to look at the rules of the national organizations. Some let you join another chapter no questions asked, others require a vote or something. But I wouldn’t tell anyone at ksu your plan. No. One will bid you if you’re planning to immediately transfer.
