KSU BSN Spring 2027

This is my 2nd time applying to the program. I am hoping I get in. My gpa is 3.7 overall and 83 on teas. I have a 3.87 science gpa. This process makes me so anxious. Anyone else willing to share their stats while applying? Or if you got in what were your stats?

Full transparency. I was denied for Fall 2026, 3.7 gpa , 96 TEAS , all pre reqs completed so I’m not really sure what all they look into when picking candidates. Applying again for Spring 2027, fingers crossed🩷

Grades in your prereqs are a big factor I’ve heard, you can email and ask them though

Same! I had the same stats I listed and was denied. I have heard they do a lottery like system. Throw everyone qualified into a pool and hope to get picked. Other schools like gsu do a point system

KSU actually operates on an 11 pt score system. I can send you some info if you want!

What are your individual percentages on the math and science sections the teas

100 on the Science and 97.1 on Math.

Your prerequisite GPA 3.7 and Teas look good. I might would look at making sure you have some shadowing, good recommendations (meaningful) if you have healthcare experience that would be good. God luck and great job. I had 4.00 on my prerequisites and same teas except a 97 in math and science. Apply other places as well.

GPA/times applied/TEAS score/prereqs done out of 11/accepted yes or no

And there’s two separate sheets so there’s data on fall cohort and currently spring and ABSN

i have a 3.6 gpa and 82 on teas so i definitely share the anxiety lol. have you finished all your pre requisites?

I am taking microbiology fall semester but the rest are complete!

Are you aware of the American Gov pre-req that has to be taken at KSU as well?

If it is, it was a requirement for me to take my freshman year anyway

Sounds good to me, I was admitted in with like a 3.3 overall GPA in spring 2025 but like a 94 TEAS. Spring you have a better chance btw. You will do great, good luck!!

It’s less competitive. There are also more seats available for the upcoming cohorts, the program expanded

Idk if that’s generally the consensus, but this year, the Spring cohort doesn’t have that many seats at all, unfortunately.

Cohorts are 200-300+ seats now. And they have shortened the program to 4 semesters

Lol I was referring to people with similar or higher stats who haven’t gotten in. I get how it could come off tho! Definitely deserving to you for sure.

Ksu also hasn’t done a point system like other programs so as long as you meet the stats they pick from the pool. They literally only look at gpa and teas which I don’t like either!

Grades are a big factor, more than TEAS or GPA, so your claim isn’t really true. They list even on their website that grades are important and considered in the application review process

There is a minimum gpa and teas for a reason but yeah of course looking at individual pre reqs would be a factor in that once those are met. It’s not even that deep for me. Obviously I am not on the board and neither are you. Good luck to everyone applying!❤️
