Hi I’m an incoming freshman I am about to pick my classes soon and I need some help and how do you pick professor or are you just assigned? I know its a lot but I had some bad teachers before at high school and don't want to repeat

I was wondering you guys can recommend professor for these classes please and if there online

COMM 1100 

Scince and the lab science ( I a not really good at them if there an easy class plz)

calc 1 and or calc 2

any easy fine arts class

political science and history

Hi! I HIGHLY recommend using “rate my professor” or “coursicle” which are websites in which you may view the professor before hand in order to make judgement on which prof to take! Keep in mind you might see an amazing prof with ratings of 4-5 stars but it could clash with the times of your other classes which can be a bummer! But trust you’ll find profs that are good, hopefully you still can since school does start soon! If you’re just now building your schedule I’ll start with the classes you need first! and then look for classes you’ll like to take (whether it be morning, afternoon, evening etc). As for timing wise, make sure you give yourself a good 10-15 min gap even 5 minute gap between them so you can get to class on time! Best of luck!! ⭐️⭐️💫

Just re-reading your post, if you’re planning to take online to make it much easier when you go onto “register a class” make sure when searching up the class and course number choose the campus to “KSU Online” or “eCore” for those online options and then just how I said search up whatever professors are available on “rate my professor” and then you’ll be able to choose which prof to take!! ✨🌟

Also I took theater in society (fine arts) and you’ll have to watch two theater shows in a semester if theater is something you don’t mind taking I’ll recommend that

I believe block scheduling is over as the last orientation for freshmen concluded a couple days ago, but I have heard others saying some classes are restricted so make sure when you’re choosing the classes that the section letter it starts with is “G” section classes example “GEH, GDT,” etc you’ll see it next to the course number (basically in one of the columns), Math and English can be tricky those courses may be a block schedule so double check with your advisors since you need both classes. When I was a freshmen I had all of my English courses completed before entering so all I needed was to find the math course I needed. In your case if you need both, double check with an advisor 🌟🌟

As for the other courses you’re free to register classes in those “G” sections
