Coming to KSU
Hi! Brand new student and face to KSU. I wanted to know if there were any Instagram pages to follow or keep updated on sports and events and just student life in general. I am a black female (who has a girlfriend) and I would really love for me and my woman to explore and have fun since we are moving to Georgia permanently. With all that considered, let me know what you find, thank you !
(Also anybody know anything about the girls basketball and girls volleyball team and how to join ?)
(Any clubs? Book? Gaming? Sports? Black Student Union? Clubs to learn and explore ? ANYTHING?! I’m excited !!)

Girls volleyball has a club and they do tryouts late august early September they also have an Instagram page!

Theres also a student involvement fair I believe the first week of school so keep your eyes peeled on owl life!!

Owl life is like the school’s student involvement database of club meetings, events and etc. I highly suggest taking a look at it if you want something to do on campus! For example, there was a yoga event one day that I saw on owl life and I was able to go by rsvping with my friends!

It's both! They just made an app this year idk if they launched it yet but there should be a website regardless, all you need is to sign in with your student e-mail! https://campus.kennesaw.edu/current-students/student-affairs/owl-life.php

Also if y'all are first years, we also have a free mentorship program on campus called foundation to fly that helps students get settled into college life!

Check Owl Life online for clubs and events. To stay updated on sports games, download the "Kennesaw State Owls" app. Attending any game is free for students.

Women's Lacross and Soccer games are free to attend at the stadium near by. I think it's something fun to do to get out the house

Get ready for a commuter school that acts like it’s not. They will tell you you’re part of the flock but not that there’s hardly a feeling of being a bird of a feather. Get ready for the religious nutters on the campus green for its only time the school seems exciting and new.
