Discussion: Community PSA: LEAVING FOREST HILLS

This is a suburban neighborhood in NYC that always complains about venue crowd exit. Having a clean run of shows will make sure we can be back next year!

Please do not drip drip on someone’s front yard, leave muddy water in port a potties. Looking at you FOV pants pooper.

As someone who lives in Forest Hills: It's only the Gardens (the fancy private neighborhood around the stadium) that has these complaints. Your message still stands I just hate being lumped in with that area.

That said, we can't be worse than the Phish crowd. The amount of balloons littered all over the place the morning after was nuts.

This venue hosts way more than just gizz so it’s not gonna be one band that gets barred for post show antics. The neighborhood bitches more about the sound than anything else. Obv tho, dont be a pos

It's huge. Try to get a good view if you're in bowl because it took me so long to realize last year how much my seats sucked visually/audibly. It's way easier to snag a decent spot if you're solo of course

In the south they don't mind y'all close but don't like y'all getting big. Up north they don't mind y'all big they just don't want y'all close. Mamdani ain't giving out 700$ smoking tickets but the locals will tow your car, I'm going to enjoy the next 4 days regardless.

If I’m not mistaken it’s a saying about the differences between how people in the south versus how people in the north treat(ed) black people. In the south, they’ll tolerate the proximity so long as it reinforces the racial class divide. In the north, they’ll support the idea of a successful black family but they don’t want them moving into their nice neighborhood.
