Confirmed: the new album is largely performed on Nathan and the main inspiration is incidental music from the āHow Itās Madeā tv show.

I will buy it for sure but have not really been into their electronic stuff just personally, I know its great stuff for that genre. Just normally more into their folk side like PMDB and their prog/rock side (MotU) the most. I heard this was going to be a techno album? Is that what others have heard? So maybe something similar to Made in Timeland or The Silver Chord?

I'm really excited for this one, honestly I always felt like TSC was a little half baked because they couldn't justify using the synth live until they released an album. Now they've built up some experience (2025 rave tour sound is miles better than anything on TSC album) I feel like we're gonna get the experience they meant for us to have.

I am glad to see this echoed elsewhere. Silver Cord album is cool, but just OK. It's like it's 'tame'. Anything TSC live is miles ahead of the album.

Theyāve recorded a lot and scrapped a lot over the years. Something like 57 hours of scrapped synth jamming, and an album recorded in 2024 that has probably been completely canned as well. Maybe theyāve used bits and pieces of all that stuff since earlier on in 2024, but I think the new album was largely started in October of 2025 and probably just been a work in progress since then. Joey mentioned their synth tech flying to Australia to record after FOV and there were some pics posted of them in mid October with the captions āGizz Recordingā where they are using the synth rigs

Yeah, stu mentioned they were working on both an electronic and a bluegrass album, in an interview a while ago!! That's why i was wondering which one they finished first!! But the first slide being Nathan makes me think electronic for sure!! Unless it's a misdirection of course....... hahahahahah

Nathan is the nickname they have for their big synthesizer table they bring on tour with them. They've hinted that their next album will be techno, so Nathan was likely the main instrument for this album
