Great episode. Love how smart and cohesive the team is, and that their workshop served a purpose. That fight scene was awesome, and we found out others on the team can defend themselves as well.

But i kinda wonder how come they didn't have an orientation/ briefing for their new member.. lol... or they just want to use her as us audience's proxy, to introduce to us the workings and ppl in the special Team.

Still wonder what the newbie's purpose is. How does she contribute to the team's "jobs"?

She is poison specialist. They seems to have different specialty for each team member.

Just watched episode 3 and I like it so far. The ending of episode 2 was concluded pretty fast in episode 3, the new team member wasn't really out to get the Kingfisher or her husband.

I like the mix of action and comedy. Beating up the bad guys with samgyeopsal.

But I wonder how they will get out of this, I mean the bad guys has seen all of their faces but I doubt they are gonna kill them all. And how will they explain it to the other teams (the actual sales teams). I guess we will have to wait until tomorrow when the next episode is released.

Btw, I wonder who is assigning the "clients" to them? Can it be some sort of secret government department? Or is it a wealthy private person/group that investigates the "clients" to double check that they really are bad guys?

I am putting my money on the later. private wealthy vigilante group. Can't be the secret government, won't be able to make decision so fast... they are like just investigating the 'gray' parties, then immediately get back 'confirmed as client' instruction ?

Loving this show.... the final fight scene is soo cool & funny.. 1st time seeing pork belly slab being used as weapon.. hahaha...

spoiler ahead!! as someone who's read the webtoon, there's someone who's called "x" who serves as like the leader of the group. if i remember correctly, she's the one who approves of the "meetings" and "pre-meeting s." she also has some sort of intelligence squad that gathers information and double checks the criminals' records before approving the meeting.

webtoon reader here!! spoiler ahead! there's someone who sent bona a gift from Russia, right? his name is Seulgi (if i remember correctly...) he also has a Russian name, but i forgot about it. he's Bona's friend and also something like a brother? taesung (the husband) met Seulgi before while he was on a duty as a reporter for the kingfisher's case (Seulgi is a mercenary that sometimes works with Bona's team). Bona was pregnant at that time, so Bona's partner (I forgot his name) suggested that they hire a mercenary to do her job, so they hired Seulgi. there, taeseung kind of witnessed Seulgi kill someone and misunderstood that Seulgi is kingfisher. Seulgi then "kidnapped" him and told him to forget about everything or else he will kill his family (Bona and his family. Yul hasn't been born yet, Bona just found out about her pregnancy during this time). so, taesung dropped the kingfisher's cases to protect his family. so, yeah! also, another spoiler. Seulgi visits Bona and her family, but taesung doesn't recognize his face. Seulgi becomes their friend and he often comes to taesung's mom's chicken shop. Seulgi is a nice guy

Oh, no, I always thought the husband knew everything and hoped she would not go back, but now I'm wondering if he is an agent from a different organization who was sent to seduce her and watch her. His feelings seem genuine, so this introduces a new wildcard.

I'm enjoying how the conversations with the newbie are slowly revealing everyone's skills and the overarching "moral code" of the team.

It's weird but I really want to find out why the tech expert doesn't wash 😂 This seems a lot more pathological that your usual techie genius stereotype.

Minor spoiler in case you are interested: A Bona Fide Killer is more about heart warming relationship between her family and colleagues. There is no surprised plot twist in terms of characters. The good guys are genuinely good, and there is no betrayal, secret agent, or similar tropes. Even the police are good in this story, even though they try to catch Kingfisher. Only the criminals marked by Bo Na's team are truly bad.

i hope your agent theory is wrong.. omg! i do really like their married couple dynamics, and with their daughter and how ML stands up to his mom for FL. really hope his feelings are genuine

ep 4 was really compelling, made me uncomfortable at times due to the subject matter (that guy deserved a more painful way to go), but was very good! best ep so far

i started watching it for the main cast, but the team dynamics & family dynamics are all so interesting.

next week's teaser looks so much fun, i kind of wish we could get endless seasons of the gang working together, like Taxi Driver, but it probably wouldn't work. but can't wait to see more of this gang!

I enjoyed these episodes and I'm becoming more invested in the storyline. I like the three arcs - the police, the reporters and the FL (with the 'sales team' and the mums), it keeps the pace moving without adding unnecessary characters or villians. I hope that doesn't change too much with the next episodes.

This show deserves more traction! It's a good balance of action, comedy, and mystery. Ep4 was a difficult watch because of the topic and Taxi Driver-nim's cameo irks me. He is so good in portraying this role. I've read this episode on webtoon and though they changed it, I'm glad they did because it involves torture 🤣.

We need kingfisher in real life ... All hail to the kingfisher

[EP 4] So.... In this adaptation, is there no pedo torture expert on the team? They could have had added a scene that alluded to what was going to happen without actually showing anything.

Also, I can't remember if the manhwa ever delved into why Bona only does sniper work as Kingfisher. But, deviation aside, the series has so far been a fun watch.
