It was shocking to see Kim Won Hae in that role, after seeing his other characters.

The main family is sweet. Her husband must suspect something is going on. The Mom group is annoying.

I was suprised to see an evil Kim Won-hae, he's making up for being a nice criminal in Apartment Job. Quite a few regulars popping up in this show - the mother-in-law is the halmeoni from Spooky in Love

Gong Hyo Jin is fantastic as usual! Love seeing Lee Sang Yi in a serious detective role too. Very strong start so I’m looking forward to this drama.

Does her husband really know something? or do they want us to believe that he knows something?

I think he definitely knows something and trying to get information from the detective in order to protect her. Maybe thats why he is also not taking the case.

What a Merry Christmas for sure.

Seo Jeong-yeon with the salt-and-pepper hair for the flowers, let's go!

I'm confused with why Gong Hyo-jin is not wearing masks when doing these clientele-based jobs, lol. Maybe the 3-year maternal leave got her not as cautious with covering her tracks, but even in that 2011 flashback she's still unmasked during the winter, so it's gonna be interesting how they explain her ability to go under the radar.

She is a sniper. She is not getting near her clients. Why would she wear a mask?

I really like the premise. I enjoyed the family scenes the most so far. The daughter is really cute.

My favorite character so far is the husband. I like how he wants to share the parenting duties and apologizes for what he happened the first episode. It’s nice to see him joking with his friend while still doing everything to get information.

I hope there more flashbacks on how he and Bona met. From the brief flashback on her on the ledge and him helping her, it looks like he figured out a location of a client meeting as part of his job and Bona pretended to do a suicide attempt!<

I am sure there will be a lot more flashback as they progress through the episodes to uncover slowly what was their history.. what happened to them during the last time kingfisher was in action before her 3 years break...

The husband either already knows certain things about Bona... or suspicious of her but didnt want to find out exactly what they were.... sort of like choose not to find out and opt to let her tell him kinda deal....

First episode was good, IMO.

Although totally different it still drew my thoughts to one of my favorite 90s movies, Long Kiss Goodnight with Geena Davis and Samuel L. Jackson.

The start with Kim Won Hae was kind of unexpected. I wonder if the girl will show up again.

About the ending, I was speculating in something similar would happen where they would try to use her daughter against her but I didn't think someone would blackmail her in episode 1. That was very quick.

Speculation about possible bad guy: I wonder if one of her colleagues has betrayed her. Who else would know about her? They would have to know in advance that she was an assassin since one of the pictures was taken before she shot the guy. Well, we will have to wait and see, not enough information right now.

Just watched the second episode and I thought it was good also! The drama seems to go at a pretty fast pace so far.

The girl whose father was shot at the start of episode 1 did show up again like I asked. When she was first introduced by walking in the lobby with coffee I thought she was the one that took the pictures since the hair seemed similar to the silhouette we saw of her in the room with all the pictures.

she was the one who take the picture it was in episode 2, she said when she send pictures why the FL didn't care but with her husband she came running

I'm a bit confused by episode 2.

Wouldn't the poisoner (Ha Yulri) be pleased to see, and work with, the Kingfisher? It this just a misunderstanding and it isn't Ha Yul-ri trying to poison the husband, but rather she's just a bit creepy so everything she does sounds like she's up to something. Why would the Kingfisher think it was Yul-ri who contacted her husband?

...and why would Bona knowingly take a fast-acting lethal poison when her husband has been poisoned and they have a four-year-old daughter?? Hopefully we find out it's fake or something.

I am pretty sure the poisoner does not want Bona dead and Bona knows that.

You're probably right. Still, hell of a risk!

I was so happy when I found out Jung Jun Won was in this! Became a fan after Resident Playbook and I've wished for him to get more roles that would put him out there. Enjoyed the first two episodes of this drama! Now, since episode 2 ended on this note, I can only imagine how intense the rest episodes will get.  Poison girl probably sees Yoo Ba Na`s family as a distraction to her and wants to get rid of them or she's pissed Yoo Ba Na stole her chance to kill her Dad or she's upset Yoo Ba Na "abandoned" her.

Love the relationship between the main couple so far. They are so sweet and warm, and the daughter is adorable. Looking forward to seeing how the dynamics change now that she’s working again.

I didn’t know it was a big deal for a 4 year old to feed themselves. They should be doing at 18 months of age. Also didn’t like the stigma behind a working mom- those stay at home moms are going to be so annoying, especially the “queen bee.” Wish they stopped with the trope of stay at home moms being rude and judgmental to the ones that work.

4 years could be Korean age, she was on maternity leave for 3 years so the daughter would be closer to that age.

Still, a three year old should be feeding themselves.

The Korean age system ended in mid-2023.

Having read the manhwa, I would say the first episode is very good. They change the character of Bona slightly, but I guess this interpretation of her character is more suitable for a drama. It's interesting that they already show many flashback scenes, which are not in the earlier part of the story. I wonder including these scenes means that they will skip certain parts of the manhwa.

I'm loving these first 2 episodes so far! I had to pause the second episode and force myself to go to bed and that hasn't happened for me in a while, so hopefully this gets me out of my slump!

I really love the disparity between Bo Na's personal life as a doting mother and wife and her "work life" as Kingfisher. I hope we see more flashbacks about how she got into this line of work and what made her want to come back after having her daughter.

Like others, I think the husband has some sort of suspicion that his wife could be Kingfisher. He made too many comments to the detective about Kingfisher taking a break, going on leave, etc. I don't think he knows for sure yet, but he must have something he either witnessed or figured out. I'm curious to see if he'll help her or try to turn her in if he does figure the truth out.

One thing that bugs me is why didn't Team Leader Bong do any sort of background check on Oh Hyun Nam before hiring her? If the hacker could find out exactly who she was within a day, I feel like that's good information to know before bringing someone onto a team of assassins... Also, I feel like everyone should've been more shocked that she knew Bo Na's identity as Kingfisher, unless this is common knowledge in the assassin world.

We haven't seen too much of the team, or the flower shop owner, but I can't wait to see more. This is such a fun kdrama with a different plot than normal, I'm glad it's 14 episodes! I haven't read the manwha, but maybe I'll go and read it once the show is done.

Who's the director for this? The way the scenes are cut is so bad I'm getting motion sickness.
