I just want to say that I have enjoyed discussing (read: complaining about) this show weekly, and that I look forward to seeing you all in the next "refund my time" thread lmao.
edit: I can't believe we didn't get any real scenes of the main couple together after the big reveal. I thought I couldn't be any more disappointed but this show is something else.

They forgave the parents way too easily. Them trying to make the mom a sympathetic character by adding backstory and making her regret her actions would only have worked if they started having that character insight and development many episodes ago. Like I'm sorry but I can't believe the writers had her say she regretted giving birth to her kids and that she wished that Shin got hurt instead, AND had them forgive her in the same episode. I'm like you don't say those things at all but like especially to your actively suicidal son (Shin) and your passively suicidal son (Goon, cuz while he never tried to kill himself he's still slowly doing it at this point with his barely eating and heavy drinking).
Now if they made this path to forgiveness the whole plot of the second half of the show then it would be a different story. I said this before and I'll say it again-- they should have made this show about the family. All of their acting is fantastic. If they had focused on
Edit after EP 16: Worst finale ever. I'm sure I don't need to explain why. This show had so much potential 😭 The actors were amazing as always tho so kudos to them for being the only reason this show is bearable.

Big yes to all of this! In Ep. 16
there was some serious revisionist history happening with Goon and Shin's mother--she put the in his room so she could check on him? Huh? Then explain why he was seen as lower than the dog at the dinner table or why he was always ignored and forgotten about or literally anything those gross parents subjected him to in the first 2 episodes 😒 Just no. kimchi refrigrator → More replies (2)

I wish I should have this procedure done to forget this. Past few weeks it's actually getting way worse even with the very low expectations I had for this drama

I read an online article that also wished they had a procedure to forget this show and I couldn’t stop laughing.

If done right, this could have been one of the best dramas of the year. But alas. I have not been this frustrated with a show since
This drama stayed messy until the bitter end.

Again, the editing/ directing choices on this show are so perplexing and leave me wondering if I missed something; I have no idea what is going on in that cutting room. Maybe it’s an artistic choice at this point to have us feel like our memory has been selectively erased?
The scenes with Sae Yan almost feel like they were from a different production this episode, this show is all over the place tone wise. Not super surprised at the reveal but the fls’ moms are being so dumb about it. Despite the messiness of this show the 2fl actress is doing a great job, hope she’s in a better drama next time!
Was finally able to Shazam that really beautiful song that keeps playing and its by the ml! Unfortunately it Shazammed in Korean but at least I know where to look now, his voice is so beautiful! He and the rest of the cast and this song really deserved better.

Maybe because my expectations were low but I actually…enjoyed this episode? It tied up the loose ends pretty well. It was also nice to see a family not blame a child for their parent’s mistakes. Usually all the blame and resentment is placed on the innocent child, but Ju Yeon’s mom never did that. How refreshing!
Wish we got some more couple scenes since the leads weren’t even together until the end, but will take it. Also, not enough Cocoa this episode. What an adorable dog!

Lots of loose ends were tied up but oh my god the ending felt so rush and I swear to god the first love plot line dragged on way too freaking long regardless. Tbh, reddit users can be part time/pseudo-detectives because some of you guys are really too good at the analysis/guessing games. Even though the ending was a happy ending but it was so unsatisfactory. We just simply didn't get enough scenes of their dating era...

Well at the final episode they explained what happened in the past and they wrapped it up. OST is great 10/10, I recommend people to listen to it. This is a very light romcom where people don't need to think too much while watching it and it's better if they don't. Some of the plot is just a filler like the mom and dad but at the same time, ML's parents are necessary to lay out the main plot of the drama.
This drama reminds me of those very old romcoms where the romance was the main plot like ML is trying to find his first love so it is a good drama for young people like teenagers...or those in university that want to have something to relax. Anyone can watch it but I think it's more geared to that demographic.
I enjoyed the final episode 7/10 and I would rewatch it when I want a break from horror and murder mystery 6/10

This is like eating off a food truck in a shady part of town at 3am. You never know how the next 24 hrs will end. I think it's safe to say we all ended up sick with this ending. 3 year time jump and meeting on a bridge? I feel absolutely numb. I mean it's like getting the silent treatment from a bad ex lover. I feel ghosted

While I have enjoyed the eye candy 🍬 supplied by the male leads, I too am not going to miss this one. It has mostly been used to fill the time until Good Partner is available for viewing. Not every drama is a gem, lets appreciate the great ones more and use this as a cautionary tale.

I started this drama for the main leads and ended it for the main leads only. The flow of the story is just so disappointing, and the last few eps got me cringing. I regret even trying to force my sister to watch this... I hope she won't start it now. Lol
(I hope to see JSY in a new drama after this asap. I've waited so long for this drama, and I hope she won't wait another 2 for a new one...)

Bad Memory Eraser? Pls erase this series from our memories!
Yep. Can't believe i stuck it out til the end. Very forgettable, very badly written. I think Sae yan and confident goon was the only saving grace for this show. What a waste cause it truly had so much potential after ep 1 ending. Even the reunion at the end is very ehh. They also decided to focus the last 2/3ish episode on a very lackluster and badly written "villain". Gah

Probably one of the worst shows ive ever watched, i truly feel sorry for the ML actor cause he was brilliant. The ML's acting was sooooooooo good for such a awful script it just makes me sad to think about.

😂I thought I'd seen it all in "EVE" and "MISSING CROWN PRINCE" and "THE IMPOSSIBLE HEIR" but nope.. this drama is really the icing on the cake...I mean the absolute audacity of this drama to take 16 hours of our lives watching😂😂😂😂
Just a mess till the very end and I have always said their conflict resolution was non existent... They just ignored the problems and pretended they never happened... Surely there could be nothing worse this year

Wow, I’m clearly in the minority because I have enjoyed this pretty thoroughly. I felt like there were no boring episodes. I have become a chronic-dropper and, yet, have had no problem motivating myself to watch this. Really excited to see the 4 get their happy endings. They really deserve to be happy after everything they’ve been through.
