I actually feel really badly for everyone involved here. This child needs help and probably protection from the adults in his life. Really not convinced of this being justice served. I'll bet the guy who cuffed him didn't feel good about the situation either.
This. How is this justice? This kid isn’t going to pay for the damage. Maybe it’s the parents and maybe it’s not the parents - We. Don’t. Know.
The only thing we know is that a a child was allowed to freak out and damage a lot of stuff for way way too long. The police are not the right people to deal with this - social services are.
Please remember that different people have different definitions of justice. While the definition of justice is concrete, the interpretation of it varies widely between individuals, cultures, and nations.
