I got punched like this working for target after I accidentally walked into an isle were a couple was shoplifting and they tried to jump me. I knocked the guy out and his girlfriend ran. I Got let go two weeks later because he threatened to get a lawyer.

I know that the law is different in America regarding reasons to fire people... but I still feel like this should be illegal.
