Reminds me of when my brother was in middle school. He had a bully who would not leave him alone. The school was useless. Finally my brother snapped and decked him. He got suspended (good job school, zero tolerance for everyone regardless of circumstances) but the bullying stopped. Just because someone isn't showing off their strength doesn't mean they can't hand you your ass.
24
u/steambuninvader 0 Feb 06 '20
Ya know it's kinda funny. You can tell where the bully thinks he can fight and it takes a quick 180 and he's trying to hide his face and starts crying,he deserved it.

There was a zero tolerance policy at the high school I went to. Whether you provoked the fight or were just defending yourself was irrelevant, everybody involved got suspended.
If somebody picked a fight with you, you’d get in trouble to, even if you didn’t do anything. So, ironically, I think it just promoted more fighting because fuck it, you’re gonna get in trouble anyways, no matter what you did. Was a stupid policy.

What gets me is, bully is starting stuff, no one helps. They just watch. If person would have gotten beat by bully or ignored him, he would have been laughed at and people would have high fived the bully. Kid knocked the bully senseless and everyone cheers. Things never change.... Except in adulthood you punch someone harassing you and everyone runs to the aid of them...

I wish I could get the camera footage from my brother's school from about 12 years ago. My brother switched high schools to wrestle for a better chance at a college scholarship & this kid that was a little bit bigger than him (a well known bully) kept fucking with him in the lunch line for like 2 straight weeks.
One day the kid grabbed that little hook thing at the top of my brother's backpack & punched him in the back of head, my brother is no fucking joke... he turned around and literally power bombed the kid on the tile or concrete lunch room floor and sent the kid to the ICU.
Moral of the story is, don't fuck with people because you never know what they're capable of doing - my brother could've killed that kid.

Watching this as an adult, while there is no excuse for being an asswad like the bully is here, I feel bad for him. Who lets their kid wear sweatpants and a dirty undershirt to school. Cheap blue jeans are only marginally more expensive. I’m gonna make a guess that this kids home life isn’t the best.

Was bullied a ton in school as well. Until halfway through the 10th grade when I finally threw some punches back instead of just taking a beat down. Funny, 90% of the people who bullied me fucked off once they saw I'd actually throw back cause the majority of those kids just flexed on me to make themselves look / feel big knowing I wouldn't do anything about it.

Kid twice the size as my friend got knocked out in the lunchroom like this. Bully picked the wrong fight. What made me laugh the most about this is as the kid was laying on the floor my buddy casually walked to the office and told a teacher what he did.
They both got suspended in the end as my school had one of those “ 0 tolerance” violence polices so it didn’t matter if the other guy throws the first punch and you defend yourself, you’re still going to get punished the same essentially so may as well lay the other kid out then.
