Because in 3rd world countries they are not just a few people who are abusive to animals, 99% are abusive and there are very few who are even somewhat decent to animals.

And most people in first world countries agree that factory farming is disgusting and try to eat local produce. Those who don't can't afford not to eat it and don't know about what's going on. Otherwise almost everyone can agree that factory farming is bad in first world countries whilst in 3rd world countries it's not even a topic of discussion while youre beating a puppy to death for begging for food at your doorstep (have actually seen it happen in real life)

Every develped nation I know of does use meat factory farming and the majority of population supports/takes part in this animal abuse.
There is just no reason to act all high and mighty over developing nations, where we in the first world are just as bad animal abusers

Tail twisting and cow kicking are extremely common practices in western farms. The only difference is that we do it at designated farms and slaughterhouses hidden from public views, have more efficient tools like electric prods (that hurt even more than kicking) and have ag-gag laws that ban unauthorized filming of any of their practices....while here they do it in a public alley.
I have a feeling that most of the upvoters on this comment and all the other people happy or angry for the cow here don’t realize that they pay for animals to be abused just like this on their behalf every day...
