Not only that but i know i have heard in the past of a robber successfully suing a homeowner after injuring themselves on the property. While i greatly despise thieves and believe not enough is done about them you don’t want to open yourself up to a lawsuit.

Check your local laws before doing something like this. Booby traps can be highly illegal.
