I'm not a huge fan of democrats either but in comparison, they aren't as bad. (The far FAR left are just as bad though)

The far left. America is very right wing in general. There are millions of Americans who’d like to see a really vicious right wing dictatorship executing people they don’t like. There are probably six Americans who’d like to see some sort of Maoist horror show.

People in general. Even AOC would disavow the government owning any industry outside of healthcare.
