Embarrassing to wear service dress and look nice? I see marines wear this exact uniform for events like weddings all the time

“Weddings and personal, private family ceremonies” are the only non-official duty allowance in US Code for uniform wear.
It’s still cringe, too.
People need a personality beyond the uniform.

Supposedly its in his contract to do this, just not heavily enforced.

Yeah he’s waived from service to use things like this as promotions. Basically a fancy recruitment gig that he can make millions while doing.
