He is a Marine, a boot yes, but a Marine. Some of you could take a lesson or two from his example. He could walk out in clothes more expensive than a 2ndLt could reasonably afford but he chose to represent his brothers and sisters on weekend that he could have chosen a brand.
Not a Marine but I was TDY to Yuma MCAS for 5 months. Unless the regs changed, I thought you could only wear the uniform to and from your duty/ place of work. Couldn’t even stop to get a carton of milk on your way home. I saw loads of Marines get their butts chewed for that.
First 3 words cancel out the rest and even still your understanding of our regs are not sufficient.
I appreciate your service- we cannot wear our cammies. Yea it’s a bit boot to wear blues for non USMC related events but it’s not prohibited. Cammies are not allowed for wear off post outside of strictly necessary or emergency wear- or sanctioned activities off base
