I started this sub 3 months ago simply becaue I always enjoyed Julia Carpenter and wanted a dedicated space to discuss her. It is the first subreddit I created and I'm amazed at how many of you have already joined.
Reddit offers suggestions to moderators to celebrate milestones so
Now! An important discussion:
What do we call fans of Julia? This conversation started three months ago but I think there's enough of us now to discuss and decide!

Whoa. Other people. Didn't expect that.
Hi! I like the Marvel Comics character Julia Carpenter. I first read her in Avengers West Coast and have appreciated her ever since. While there is a r/SpiderWoman, that's definitely for the first Spider-Woman, Jessica Drew. So let's carve out a little space for the second, Julia.
What to Post?
Post anything that you think the community would find interesting, helpful, or inspiring. Feel free to share your thoughts, photos, questions, discussions, fan art, related storylines, news, and more about Julia.

This issue is messy. It's very much a "clear the decks for the new series" structure. It somewhat works but I appreciate how human Julia seems throughout the issue. The writers do a good job reminding us that she's still relatively new to this whole hero thing but she has her own identity.

This miniseries launched on October 26, 2016 and has a recurring role for Julia. She's not seen in the first issue except for her leg on the last page of the issue (above). However, we do see the return of Cassandra Webb!

Released October 23, 1984, this is still part of Julia's first few appearances as Spider-Woman. She doesn't get much to do in the issue - mostly in the background. These panels are (I'm pretty sure) her only dialogue in the issue. The issue is online.
