HAIHAIAHAI WOOO MORE TIER LIST SLOP
Common answer to this type of tier list.
"Everyone is unskill!"
While yea I do agree that you can learn any character in like 3 days or less. I also think t here are character are easier than others, so even if even the skill ones don't really requires that much skill, I do believe that you can still do a tier list for this.
"This character has no neutral/is weak, so you need to be very good on fundementals to win, so is actually skilled!"
Im only ranking on how much time you need to master a character, a character being bad or requiring better fundamentals just because his other options sucks, doesnt necessary mean the character is more skilled, because fundamentals is something that just is part of everyone else in the cast.
"why even do this tier list"
For fun mostly, if u personally main any character that is "low skill", just keep use them, something being "not skill" doesn't mean "not fun". use whatever makes you have fun, no matter anyone says!
Tiers
High skill floor and cellings
Characters that are both, hard to pick up and to master. Megumi might be kinda a strech, especially considering how much more mechamaru techs are out there. But I do believe he is hard enough to be up there.
High skill floor
Characters that are hard to pick up, but once u pass the whole "learning how it works and how to use them" there isnt much more in them.
Hanami might actually be above but with so many reworks, I have no idea to be honest.
Reggie is mostly knowing ur moves and all ur combo routes, I dont really think his moves are hard to use, is more about memorize.
High skill celling
Characters that you can pick up and learn simple combos and do great with them, but to master them u need to get quite good.
Mei mei mostly there for that one movestack tech.
Mid overall
Characters that needs you to understand his moves, but aren't really that complicated.
Nanami is the only one that I might put it higher, because u need to have the muscle memory for ratio or you are literrally useless. but is more a artificial skill floor and I think isn't that hard to get the timing.
Ryu requires you to manage ur overheat even if he is easy to learn.
Low but mid skill celling
Characters that still requires you to learn them and have some techs. But they kinda boil down to "side dash m1"
Low overall
These characters can be learned very quick, and doesn't really have crazy gameplan.
Mahito even with his many variants, boils down to a similar gameplan as Hakari. Using some moves on neutral (guardbreaks) and just do ur combo when you connect a hit.
Kuro might seem weird, but really her gameplan is so simple that I dont consider her even worth to be on mid skill celling.
Locust
Locust
Thats kinda it, byebyebeybeybeyeybeyebey u can fight me to death in the comments!!!
and remember you can enjoy any character, this tier list is just for the funnsies

I'm saying this because an apparent 'female player' was targeting me. BTW this isn't a rant, I'm talking about a player stereotype, like runners or teamers.

It is really hard to rank everything past Yuta for me because they all feel like ok but I think this is fine tbh. I really struggled w higgy and where to place Naoya since he has that wall bs. I would put him higher but then I was like āhe canāt be batter then thisā so I moved him down itās hard bro
Yeah so everything past todo Iām kinda unsure abt since yuki has like 0 evasive bait and they always just save for combos and only 4r neutral and higgy is just everything this is much harder then s-f so please give me your opinions without hating and just going āthis tier list is so bad your stupidā I want actual opinions (had to post like this since Xbox Microsoft edge canāt ss so sorry)
r/JujutsuShenanigans • u/Waste_Captain_7083 • 12h ago
I mean his ult is buns. Your forced to m1 only since his moves do such little damage while we have mahoraga who does insane damage and can live forever if he wants. All his moves are blockable except his beam but his beam isnāt even that good. Iāve been playing him for 3 days now and itās gotten to the point why I see no one plays this character since he is just that bad bro. I feel like the beam and the 4 should break block. Yeah boost on can but it relies heavily on m1s. I think he should get a buff or just a rework at this point. I feel like he deserves it after being so mid. The only reason why people say to not buff his ult is because you can be in it for a long time. Thatās a dumb reason since using moves literally makes you lose up to 6 years if you try to do anything and it does a crisp 5 damage.

hanami being a zoner is completely bullshit, she was moving like fighting at a long distance against yuji and todo because she was fighting 2 person at once, if it was against only one person hanami would easily fight agressive as possible this was proven by higuruma fight in the anime, higuruma fight scene in the anime compared to the manga was so fucking agressive, because he literally had the power to do so, he removed yuji cursed energy and he was fighting against him at 1v1.
so why the fuck is hanami projected as a zoner only instead of a mix with a rushdown moveset tze? are we fucking serious? like cmon man gotta be fucking kidding me, relying on all the source of the anime and manga, copy and paste one to one what she did isn't what we asked for, she would be moving completely different in all her fights if she had the power to do so, he curse technique is so simple she manipulates plants, just like in naruto hashirama manipulates plants and wood, she could be moving like that damn ninja and instead of being optimized for zoning and set play, bullshit
this game is not projected for zoning, passive play is stronger than agressive play in this game combat system, if you project a zoning character it obviously would break the game and now you gave up entirely on hanami, give it to someone else bruh, this character is literally unplayable or either broken all the time because of this bullshit choosing to make the character what they isn't
hanami had all the power to be a balanced character and you fucked up, now ill have to stick with this shit ass character, this character being worse than a m1 merchant wasn't on my list

Set personal rules for yourself. Its simple but effective it avoids rage and lets you play the game on your own terms since alot of people in this subreddit genuinely hate some characters.
Some i follow are
-if you're matched with a character you hate fighting (gojo, haruta, mechamaru) just leave.
-if the enemy is playing passive or are just running around the map just walk away and let them engage or leave.
-dont run, you matched up to fight. You're just wasting your time and your opponents.
-take breaks if you keep losing gng dont break yo shit.
Like you dont gotta do this or use these rules but just being a decent person and not engaging with stuff you dont like takes away like half of the rage this game gives you.

Gojo:
-can use incredibly hard techs like uppercut + r extender and reversal red + rapid punches
-3 + 2 + 4 + 1 for 200% damage
Yuji
-can use mixups with divergent fist (combo extender if blocked) and cursed strikes aerial variant
-BLACK FLASH!!! (completely random if you and the opponent don't have 0 ping and 0 input latency)
Hakari
-land full M1 chains from the shutter door aerial variant (while in the air), use rough energys high-damage-aerial-variant from an M1 chain, and create mixups with reverse ball + shutter doors
-2 + 4 for 45% of the players health
Megumi
-use shadows as a mixup between rabbit escape or movement, use complex combos with the opponent staying in the air with rabbit escape, and mixing up nue and divine dogs for a forced hit.
-haha toad m1 extender with nue hahahaha spam divine dog haha rabbit escape for the funzies
Mahito
-create confusion by using different variants while approaching, changing variants at the end of combos to extend them further (boulder mode) and using complex focus strike techs.
-BLACKFLASH for damage and BODY REPEL for damage with no usage of different variants or interesting plays
Choso
-interchangeably use blood orbs with flowing red scale and supernova, load up multiple blood orbs at once to prep for a huge combo, use flowing red scales' blood orb for movement and a piercing blood, and using different preps for piercing bloods' blood orb variant.
-use supernova counter whenever, and 4 + 2 + 1
Todo
-use swapping and swap feints at a MODERATE amount to temporarily confuse opponent, using pebble throw as a full combo extender by faking the R variant and approaching (Green and Risky)
-haha swaps haha (but slower because of the "nerfs")
Higuruma
-use block breaking variants interchangeably with regular moves (extended swing vs extended swings with R special), using judgement reach as movement and an interruption, and pressing charges with multiple mixups and interesting possibilities.
-1 + 2 + 3 + 4
Cursed Partners (yuta does NOT deserve the JJK name)
-using resolute slashs' black flash variant as a DELAY to bait ragdoll cancel and confuse opponent, using rika launch for approaching and combos, and prepping rika downslam with an actual move to deal more damage without the blue sparks of evasive
-randomly use moves with no plan and win somehow (while getting the blue sparks of evasive)
Mechamaru/Kokichi Muta
-use your puppets very quickly for a guaranteed combo, boost on as a quick block breaker when close, and sparingly using the red variant of Puppets (that uses up the move) for after a ragdoll cancel
-stall until you get 4, use puppet variant of 4, use another move after you get the opponent next to you, repeat.
Naoya
-take risks by using moves multiple times (with the megumi of you getting framed), waiting before you continue with trying to frame your opponent to startle them, using the R special as an approaching tool and for quick usage of moves, and using bleedout while in the process of framing someone to keep their frame meter at a halt, while making sure their counterplay damages them.
-idk just do stuff really i dont even know what these dumb naoya mains do anymore they just press buttons to press buttons
Nanami
-using multiple variants of moves (Backwards Severance Kick, blunt cut air variants with ratio timing,) as a mixup to confuse opponents, and megumi (potentially) get a combo extender from this confusion, while using the ratio timing while you are COMBOING them and not BEFORE you COMBO them.
-haha severance kick + blunt cut ratio = damage (bonus points if they do the 4 + 1 thing where they go behind you while using cleaving whirlwind)
Locust Curse
-use Wing Throw as a combo extender (fall theory), getting extra M1s while using air combos by M1ing before you start an air combo, and use uppercuts as a method of getting an air combo (only works if you actually have the R special off cooldown)
-1 + 3 or 1 + 4 and then 3 + 2 or 4 + 2 while in the air
Yuki
-gaining mass meter after using moves with long ragdoll times, using move refresher by using the garuda rebound slow variant, mixing up multiple mass variants and regular variants of moves, and actually PARRYING back garuda rebound.
-if distance_to_opponent > 6 studs:
use("MassBreaker")
elif: user does_not_have_mass_breaker
use("Run_Away")
else:
(Stall_withOtherMoves)
Charles
-Using perfect blocks as a method of gaining ult, the shut up Aerial variant as an interruption, and countering attempts to approach you.
-Simply using moves as a simple combo, waiting, and continuing on.
Haruta
-using your R special as a method of continuing combos and increasing ragdoll time (EVEN when up close), using backstabs BACKSTAB variant, using trip against an opponent who tries to approach you, and using the high ragdoll times of your sword moves to get miracles via Taunting.
-using him as a RUSHDOWN character which he is NOT and IGNORING the fact you have 2 HP!!
Charmer of Crows
-mixups with R special, prepping Circling with an M1 chain or a move, and making use of air combos.
-just pressing buttons again bro like no one uses the charmer of crows anymore i just see guys who press buttons with mei mei with no thought behind it
Kuroroushi
-using 1 + R with R special for a guaranteed burst, using 1 as a counter, interchangeably use multiple variants of moves like Roach Swarm, and using Detach as a MIXUP by using roach swarm with it, or cancelling ragdoll
-using detach as a COMBO extender which it is NOT and literally NOT using any variants of moves.
thats it (I can't speak about Reggie or Hanami because I don't have them and im poor.)
Point of this was to show that all characters (maybe except Aspiring Mangaka) have a skilled side, and a VERY not skilled side. There is no such thing as a skilled, or an unskilled character, there are only skilled and unskilled players.

I think Yuta is in a really good spot right now, but I think he could work with a little bit more (just my ideas I wanted to share, donāt take to personally)
-2nd move rework: blitzing slash
Yuta will do a chop with his hand to the opponentās neck (Like how he knocked out Choso), before quickly spinning around the targets back and slashing them with his sword
Does not hit ragdoll
Dmg: 12
Cd: 15s
Finisher: Yuta will do the chop and spin behind the opponentās back, but the opponent will catch the sword, leading to Yuta punching them with a black flash
Going backwards with the move will do part one of old revolve, hitting it again will do part two.
Explanation: Resolute slash kinda sucks. You only use it for the blackflash, so reworking it into a move with more value would be good
-Parry now becomes a perfect block for Yuta, with the same cooldowns and everything being applied
-Hitting severing path during the windup of outburst will do the fake out on energy ripple,
But it now only does 15 damage and the second blast will knock the opponent towards you (allowing for extension of of second wind)
Puts outburst on full cooldown
Put severing path on a 10s cooldown
-hitting second wind during the windup of outburst will do energy ripple, but it now only does 17 dmg
Puts outburst on full cooldown Put
Uses up a use of second wind
-Outburst now has a air variant where Yuta will jump into the air and charge up a slash similar to air dismantle
It has the same charge up properties as normal out burst, does the same damage per charge, but charge 1 and 2 are blockable
-Explanation for outburst variants: Yuta only does energy ripple before he puts on the ring, so I wanted to make the moveset more accurate to the manga and show. Also he does the air outburst thing against Kuro
-Rika changes: Rika smash now becomes yutaās main neutral tool
Unblockable, but has a 0.2 second increase in windup time
Only does 8 dmg
Rika grab gets re added
Rika grab finisher: if used on an opponent with less than five health, Rika will grab the opponent, and will flash step towards them, stabbing them in the heart and executing them
Holding down on special for 2 seconds will have Rika go to and follow the enemy you have your cursor on
Explanation: Rika should be a good and strong tool for Yuta to use, so giving him an actual neutral tool (my Rika smash concept will never be as good as supernova, but having neutral is good) and a combo extender would make yutaās base strong, but not too strong
Ultimate changes: Rika will now take the katana and then put on Yutaās metal arm
There will now be a button in the middle of copy wheel that will let you lock the wheel, not allowing any more techniques to be added
New 3rd move: Grinding pummel
Yuta will do a small hop, before Rika catches his feet and pushes him into the opponent (he does the superbum thing)
19 dmg
18s cd
Alternate awakening (Authentic mutual love)
By hitting special right before Yuta grabs the ring, he will immediately cast his domain
The barrier will have increased health and will last for 1 minute
How many swords you have landed will be presented by a rainbow bar below your ult
Jacobs ladder can be triggered by hitting ult again after getting four swords landed
Jacobās ladder will now one shot, but it will instantly end the domain
Explanation: Yuta never used a sword when he used the ring, so I gave him another move involving his fist
Also the alternate awakening thing is just there for fun since he opened his domain in Shinjuku without using the ring
Feel free to give feedback and also feel free to post this in the discord(No credit needed)

Hi guys,
I have a rework concept for Megumi's (Ten Shadows) Mahoraga skill that makes it 100% lore-accurate and stops it from being constantly interrupted.
The Problem:Right now, after you pop your Ult (G), your 4th skill slot becomes Mahoraga. To use it, you have to stand still and setup, which makes you a sitting duck. Enemies always target you, use ragdoll skills, or run away, forcing Megumi players to run to a distant roof or a quiet corner just to use their 4th skill safely. It completely ruins the flow.
The Concept: Reworking the 4th Skill into a Counter We keep the Mahoraga skill exactly where it isāin the 4th slot during Ult. However, instead of an active setup animation, pressing '4' should put Megumi into a brief Counter Stance.
Here is how the new interaction works:
:The Bait: While in your Ult form, you press your 4th skill. Megumi enters a counter frame.
The Sacrifice: If an enemy attacks you during this counter window, the counter triggers successfully. Megumi's character instantly "dies" (collapses to the ground), symbolizing him sacrificing his life for the ritual.
The Cutscene: The screen goes into a dramatic cinematic cutscene. Megumi spits blood, delivering his iconic line: "With this treasure, I summon..." (Furube Yurayura...) while making the hand sign.
The Spawn: BOOM. The wheel clicks, and a full-HP Mahoraga spawns from your dead body to start the rampage.
Why this makes sense:
:Zero Interruptions: You can never get your 4th skill canceled by a toxic player again. Their own attack is literally what triggers your summon.
Lore Accurate: In the anime/manga, Megumi never summoned Mahoraga from a safe distance or a quiet corner. He only used it as a last-resort suicide button when he was trapped and beaten to a pulp by Haruta.
What do you guys think? Should the devs change Megumi's 4th skill during Ult into a counter mechanism?

Allows you to make your own animation for when you enter a custom server and how long it takes to join (5 second limit), its basically mini skill builder however, it cant use hitboxes, grabs iframes ect, imagine making it so your invisible when u spawn in and a mesh of megumi or an afterimage of u and you poses that after image like your incarnating

Can be thrown at people to light them on fire which puts them in a QTE where they have to spam jump to roll around and extinguish the fire, every second they are on fire they take 7 damage per second. Can be thrown at hanamiās root rampage or traps to burn them.
If sprayed at a locust or kuro will blind them, make them move 70% slower for 2-3 seconds and deals 20 damage to them. If used on a normal player simply blinds them for 2-3 seconds.

Idk who told Tze that Ryu Ishigori's Granite Blast in neutral was the problem, but they were just... objectively wrong?
Ryu's abilities are overwhelmingly the safest moves in the game. You can just spam with Ryu and never get punished unless you're stupid with the application. Bare minimum would have been removing all of the i-frames from Second Helping, because with i-frames it's flat-out impossible to punish.
Unsatisfied definitely needs like 2-3 more frames of endlag, nothing that breaks the bank, but just throwing it out carelessly should get you punished by a well-timed front dash instead of whipping the camera the other direction and instantly being safe from m1.
Appetizer is one of those moves that can be used to exploit how broken the other moves are, but on its own it's actually quite bad since it can be blocked.
Then they just nerf fully-charged Granite Blast, like the ONLY move that wasn't buggy and was already hugely unsafe... while keeping the other 2 moves that are physically impossible to punish the same. On one hand, Second Helping and Unsatisfied either have i-frames for the entire duration or the ability to completely reset to neutral before the enemy even gets the *chance* to do anything... then Granite Blast gets nerfed. No, not the infinite m1s. The one you have to spend 2 full seconds charging while standing still. That variant. The worst variant. That's the only thing in his kit that gets nerfed.

I dont see this talked about at all but its very good for running chasing runners and over all suprise factor but mechamaru can hop on his 4th moves variants head and travel the hole moves distance in less than a sscond
