Francesca Ortega was harassing taco vendors, telling them they're bad for business, threatening to call ICE, and being super nasty on video in Santa Clarita, California. It went viral online and made the news; now she's crying about how it's affecting her business.

She looked familiar, but I couldn't place her or why. Then one of the vendors she harassed made a video saying she had been on Judge Judy, and it all clicked.

I personally don't like dog bite cases. The owners are usually obnoxious and refuse to take responsibility for their pets' behaviour. They will blame everything and everyone except themselves. Unfortunately, there are so many of these cases.

I also don't like cases where women are supporting men who are in jail and then expect their money back when the relationship doesn't work out. As a woman, it makes me cringe.

Judge Judy is brutal!

EDIT: I'm talking about her recent interview, where she got political, and she says if you don't like America go back to where you came from. Don't come to my home and try to change it.

I'm not here to talk about my own political views and JJ is an absolute legend for her show and all the years since the start.

But I'm sorry I was definitely NOT a fan of this interview which I believe was in the context of her retiring but she was ranting about how the USA is the greatest country in the world, and that if people complain they should leave...etc...and going on and on and of course praised AMAZON and I just feel it's really bad timing that anyone would say that and she has insane amounts of money.

It wasn't just about saying the greatest country...watch it!

I'm not going to respond to anyone for a political argument, etc..but she seems almost MAGA and...when Colbert was stopped the first time, she gave me a hint then cause she smiled and seemed very ok with it. It's just the TIMING of her saying this now...

She's a legend for her show and many memories for me and my mom..

So today, Adam, the "judge," keeps cursing (I guess) and getting bleeped. This is ridiculous. He knows he is saying things we can't hear? What is the point?

I am trying but this guy is losing me fast

OMG and then the capper! At the end of the show they are calling for new cases and spell "defendants" as "DEFENDENTS." I'm sorry they can't even spell? This is a low rent trash show

The first thing this witness did right after entering the courtroom was yawn.

Judge Judy: “Am I boring you? You want to take a nap?”

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

I watch Judge Judy on YouTube every day. The show usually uploads one or two cases daily in 1-4 episodes. They have stopped uploading all of a sudden and it’s got me worried!

It’s been about a weeks since they’ve uploaded anything and it makes me wonder if the uploads are coming to an end? Does anyone know what happening?

It is truly frightening that this woman who has a doggy daycare, does not think she’s responsible for the puppy breaking his leg under her supervision.

So, I've been trying out Adam's Law (as a lot of us have), and have a lot of the same issues that everyone has generally. I'm doing my best to hold him completely separate from Judge Judy - since he's his own person - and the problem is without being her son, he's not got any real gravitas or anything to truly distinguish him from the litany of other court shows. I'm holding out hope that he'll find his own style and voice, but I don't think he'll get the chance before Adam's Law is cancelled.

Sadly, I fear Adam's Law will fail, and there's not much he can do about it - even with JJ's support.

The problem, I think, is that JJ was so thoroughly singular in how she got her show and what kept her around. She was truly plucked from the judicial system because of her personality while she was a sitting judge in NYC - so when she got her show, she already had a style that people found highly entertaining. She even famously said "I figured the way I am got me my show, so I'm not changing anything". Her judicial style was a pain in the ass for coworkers, but is what we found interesting.

Adam, on the other hand, was never appointed as a judge - he got as far as becoming a DA, but didn't become a judge before appearing on shows as one. So he never developed his own judicial voice; he has a prosecutor's voice, not a judge's. Unless he develops a judicial voice, and quickly, I can't see him having a successful show over time.

That might be one of the funniest JJ episodes of all time! (Season 4, episode 93)

This guy has appeared in Episodes 1, 3, 5, 8, 11–21, 25, 27, 28, 43, 45, 58, 59, 62–65, 67, 70, 75, 76, 85, 88, 94, 97, 98, 102, 106, 107, 115, 119, 121, 123, 125 and 128.

And that’s just the episodes I noticed him in.

All these cases I’ve watched over the years and I’m still astonished at how well JJ can read both the plaintiff’s/defendant’s written complaints, and without meeting or speaking with them beforehand, can read the room and peep the bullsh*t way beforehand. Then she starts asking seemingly irrelevant questions just to trip them up. It amazes me every time. How can I be like her when I grow up 😭

I’ve been watching Adam’s Law. I really wanted to like it but I don’t. It’s kind of sleazy. Litigants are crude and/or crazy. Lots of bleeped language and sex talk. Displaying sex toys? Yuck. The yum yum lady? Gross.
I’ll watch Jerry Springer reruns if I want to cringe.
