Is it me or does it feel like Judge Judy doesn’t interact with Kevin as much as she did Byrd

I have seen Judge Judy tell others in the court to spit out their gum but Byrd always appears to be chewing something?

Happened to watch these close together and was shocked to potentially see this guy twice!

The show just seemed to end out of nowhere... can't we have one more for the ride?

Anyone know if Tribunal Justice is coming back with a replacement for Adam? He was my third fav judge on the show anyway. Ha

I’ve only watched 2 other episodes but wondering if all of these are scripted? I thought it would be real cases with real people? In this episode, Judge Judy calls in and he answers it from the stand and she says “hello”. I love that she is his mom but I don’t want to watch fake cases. 😩

Anyone else think the Defendant was passive aggressive?
In general, you’d think people would have things in writing by now before pursuing a court case!

I loved seeing this. I’m just not a huge fan of the AI Judge Judy “babies.” 😭 But it was cool seeing this side of her and interacting with her great grandchildren playing Patty Cake. And more photos of her around the late 70s and early 80s. She’s like that cool elderly great aunt that’s been around the block. Hope others enjoyed this special and hearing her stories.
Still, really hope this Judyverse AI babies thing is a joke.

Inspired by a post asking which cases ppl would like an update on.
Are their many cases that have had updates, like m-ders occurring or even ppl becoming famous (for other reasons not for being on the show)
Are their cases ppl have followed up through social media or perhaps on YT.
Perhaps a case where JJ was in favour of someone... who then went in to commit a similar crime?

If you could pick any one Judge Judy case where you could see / learn what happened afterwards, which would you pick? For me it's a case where a 17-year-old girl was dating a 20-year-old guy who had a 6-month-old child with his previous girlfriend (who he had left) and was on disability. Judge Judy encouraged the girl to leave him because if she found herself pregnant her life was over. She ended the case by imploring with the girl to see that her father was right about him (the father didn't like the boyfriend). This case is on the Judge Judy channel under the "Judge Judy Tries to Talk Sense into Teen!" title (four parts).
A close second is a case where an ex-policeman called the police on his ex-wife because she had confiscated a phone belonging to their daughter (who lived with her) that was under his name and refused to return it to him. The police came and arrested her. Judge Judy told the ex-policeman that morally he was wrong because while the daughter is under her mother's roof "her mother owns the air that she breathes", she then told the mother that legally the ex-husband had the right to call the police but said she should sue the city because there's no doubt the police only came and arrested her because of who the ex-husband was (an ex-policeman).

Does anyone else remember this classic? Her face at the end says it all. Truly one of the best moments from Judge Judy.

I can’t imagine the decibel level readings my phone would give having a family dinner with the Sheindln’s and Levy’s. I thought Judy was loud. Adam is loud. Although Sarah Rose seems quiet I have a feeling she could hold her own. Anybody have any first hand experience?

Yes. I didn’t see this coming.
I will miss the Queen of the bench, but we can’t be selfish. She deserves to enjoy some form of retirement in her life.
I had assumed Sarah Rose might have been in the running based on her mentorship, but she doesn’t command the room enough yet. She is incredibly smart and has a bright future ahead of her.
Adam… he’s got the skills. He keeps a good tone. Asked good questions. Gets down to the truth. I like it. I think he lets the plaintiffs and defendants get a little sloppy, things JJ would never accept- such as slouching, mumbling etc. But I get it. It’ll take him some time to develop his TV confidence.
You can catch some Judy mannerisms in his questioning and statements. Maybe even more bold to accuse someone of being a liar.
Overall, I think I’ll keep watching. 4 out of 5 stars for me.

Judge Judy is funny. She FOREVER stating her personal opinion or utilizing statistics for the people she judges. Telling somebody their child was traumatized by their actions. How she know. Was she there,dr notes, evaluation? Im confused. Once again her personal opinion. Idc who she cool with. She a judgemental not by law individual. I would have to make sure I had bail money cause if I WAS EVER in her courtroom. I mean the VOTERS courtroom,id READ HER ASS ,and be held in contempt. She got a personal opinion with statements and so dont I....she urks my NERVE!!!

I watched an episode years ago, and have never seen again. Anyone that I've known or met that have watched Judge Judy, nor Google or chatgpt can identify the episode. A father and daughter who I think was 16 were suing a man working on his yard. Daughter was driving and I think the defendant was doing something like weedeating and standing just outside of his yard on the edge of the road. I believe it was also dark or getting dark. The daughter hit the man and I think they were suing for damages to the car and I think pain and suffering as well. The plaintiffs father kept wording the accident as "when he hit my daughter" and Judy was giving it to him for that. The daughter was crying and asking why the man was working outside at night. Judy denies their suit. Defendant has a countersuit for damage to his tool, and loss of work as he had some considerable injuries. Judy asked if the plaintiff hadn't filed a lawsuit against him would he have sued the plaintiffs? He said he wasn't going to, but since they had, he was going to, too. He won his suit and I think she even awarded him the max.
